Have you looked into mana? I feel stupid relating it only to "luck," because it's something more than that, but if I'm not mistaken, it can influence it.

Luck is just misunderstood chance.
I don't really believe in luck at least not from colvers I've found tons of 4 leafs and at least 3 5-leafs so I know they don't have luck
