Personally, I think that thread is a bit outrageous. "Attack" is a strong word, considering some people on this planet have been outright trying to INVITE travelers from other planets for peaceful contact, for a while now. Maybe it's possible some came.

The TR-3B, if it flies at all, is a replication vehicle. It's a copy of other flying black triangles, that have been reported back in the 70s when the U.S. airforce's big secret project was the Blackbird--just an ordinary conventional jet that was so special because it could fly faster than three times the speed of sound.

I know from personal experience that the Zeta Reticulli + Human hybrids, called Sassani navigate a triangular design for their craft, but they have a different silhouette and details than a Terran, copied design. In my opinion, the TR-3B design is clearly intended to impersonate the Sassani. But it doesn't even have a telepathic connection, so any cross temporal navigation would have to be done off ship!

It's a prop, basically.
