What actual empirical evidence can you present for your beliefs

Hey, actual responses and I can inform myself. Thanks for that. I'm making a coffee and going through these.

Since I'm alredy here, I'd like to share what made me create this thread.

When I was 18 me and a friend were at night in a park sitting on a bench and talking. It was one of the public parks with a lot of grass.Behind and around except in front of the bench there was nothing but grass for at least 4 or 5 meters. I did not have any drugs including tobacco, caffeine and alchohol.

While talking about an imature matter of no importance ( I was complaining about national exams being hard ) we heard a young 20-30 female laugh from right, and I insist right behind us as from someone next to your shoulder.

We were silent for a few seconds and I immediatly realized I needed to confirm. I asked him if he he heard something. He looked at me and said "some girl laughing". When asked from where he said from right next to our back. After that he panicked and wanted to leave as we were alone.

If asked today he is unwilling to retell what happened not as if it didn't happen as if it's not important at all.

I'm mostly a /sci/ bayesian modern rationality type by the numbers twenty something years old now and I'm really thankful for my reacion at that time. It was the only paranormal experience I've had which I could confirm with an external observer.

I've looked into all kind of stuff since then and nothing really satisfies me due to the fact that most auditory illusion phenomena requires certain conditions which are not present at all in my case.

I'm also interested in the paranormal side of things but whenever I look online for this stuff I end up nowhere because of my current belief system.
