Holy shit /x/. I was surfing the waves on my HAM looking for intresting stuff as I usually do, and I came across this: https://clyp.it/n4huqz2c# . I'm not sure what the fuck it is, but it seems it has been transmitted deliberately as there is barely any noise in the recordings at all. I found these signals at 3761.39kHz, on the bandwidth of 6.59 kHz @ -6dB; 7.05 kHz @ -60dB 80m. I've got more clips if you want them, but its never like anything i've heard before. In one of them, it sounds like a voice. I am just an amateur so i haven't been on air that long, can anyone explain this? I can upload more clips if intrested.

This is all i was able to get before nothing static came back. I haven't tried going back to it yet, as i think it changes frequency because i was only able to get about 30 secs of audio before it changed.

Thats a good theory, but I tried to correct for any stretching in adobe audition and ive come up with nothing. Thats one mighty clean signal, unless he somehow distorted it before transmission and then sent it out ? It kind of sounds like a transformer.

Yeah, i see the resemblance. It's kind of weird how people would just transmit noise and go through the trouble of converting that signal from digital to analog just to fuck with people. I was hoping it was something more...

It could be something more, it is a really clean signal. This madman is really close by; or has overpowered transmission equipment; or it's noise leaking from something like a transformer, like you said.

I totally forgot about SIGID. I'll give them an upload and see if those gods come up with anything. I had another scan over within the same range and i get nothing but noise! A college thats kind of close to me has a HAM club and they have everything from ULF to VHF, so ill ask if they've heard anything. Theres a cell tower nearby, but it broadcasts on the 1700 band, so thats not it.. Im stumped
