Color in general influences a great majority of what we perceive being the essence of vision and all. Everyone coming out of the womb experiences the reality of a completely dark abyss being replaced with a warm light. There is the first distinction you make. From there the binary thought process is established. You were fine in the dark but being broken free from your mother's womb you cry but then your nervous system kicks in and says these gentle touches you're feeling are okay and you start to smile and giggle because the sensation of tickling is well documented to cause those responses. Mixing of culture and instinct begins at birth, and you cannot help it. You being the baby you are and having the brain that you have just coming out of the womb are able to associate the good feeling you just got then with feeling good, since everyone around you in 99% of cases are smiling as well. This is the first start of basic tribal instinct.
