I think I've been the victim of hypnosis / programming; how can I confirm it? I can go deeper into the story but I feel like it's not important / to close to meme territory. I just want to discover what it is so I can either work on reversing it or seek mental help.
Don't worry, hypnosis isn't real.
But I'm worried about what makes you think you have been brainwashed/manipulated/whatever.
Maybe you are just being paranoid?

it's likely you are not the victim of a malicious attempt to influence your actions, but if you are convinced try acting perpendicular to the supposed change in behavior/somehow opposite if perpendicular was the previous state.

mind control hypnosis isn't real, but suggestive hypnosis is definitely possible.

That's what worries me too; I had an event almost exactly a year ago that was similar to things ive read on MK Ultra (colours, trigger words, disorienting events) and since the event I've experienced what I felt like is gang stalking (hence why I didn't really want to go into it). I understand how fucking crazy the idea of GS is and let me assure you I don't think everyone's in on it like some of these morons I see on youtube, but there are definitely groups of individuals that have demonstrated malicious behaviour to me.

This does seem to work, if anything it may be a placebo effect for possible mental illness.
if you were hypnotized you wouldn't have noticed it

less hypnotism, more programming. I have very little memory from childhood and am directly related to a child molester. This is what worries me, I don't have any direct memory of them assaulting me but at the same time any time I read anything about the processes used to program child sex ring victims I get a sense of de ja vu.

not remembering much of your childhood is normal, and your brain creating false memories while researching a particularly distressing subject can also happen, the brain is really efficient at making connections that could work as an explanation for memory loss, but it can also mean nothing, confirmation bias.
