What are some strange fears you have /x/? I work in construction and architectural dead space has always given me an overwhelming sense of dread. Corridors and hallways to nothing. Pic related is from a nail spa & salon we are building

Just put a mirror or a beautiful picture nicely framed there. A small table with flowers will help too.

Thats the intent. Theres actually supposed to be a small workstation there with a towel warmer and a backdrop. Still just strange to see
portraits and mirrors scare me, though nothing ever happened.
Objects in places they aren't supposed to be like a chair under stairs etc.

I love architectural dead space. I like to hide in corridors to nowhere.

so tell them to put up a fkin painting or rack that holds something
my fear is stories about the deep sea: where monsters will sleep for centuries upon centuries to save their calories/energy and r only awakened when they cannot hibernate anymore or something disturbed it, making the thing go on a feeding frenzy b4 it dies, or repeats the cycle...
why?

"lobsters do ultimately end up dying, if not from a predator or disease, then simply from the process of >non-stop growth<."
I get a sense of intense dread if I think too much about people looking at me. Not a self-consciousness thing, more like thinking about another animal witnessing me and analyzing me. Think about it next time somebody maintains eye contact with you. About how their sentience is making dozens of assumptions and calculations about you that they don't consciously even understand... Seeing peoples eyes dilate to any degree when I look at them makes me queasy, and noticing people out of the corner of my eye glance at me drives me crazy.
Sinkholes of all types but mainly from shitty infrastructure, I get waves of anxiety now and then wondering when the ground will open up beneath me because people generally don't give a shit until disaster happens.
Holes in my skin. Not big ones, more like having a wasps' nest, little holes covering some part of you body...

there's also a part of your brain that notices when you're beibg stared at, even if you aren't directly seeing it. That's the thing in the subway when you get your head up and right away look at someone, only to see him suddently look away uncomfortably. Your brain noticed.
Not really strange but not widespread:
Maggots and parasites that crawl under your skin and live inside your body or even brain

I have an irrational fear of red lighting in dim areas.

Being super glued to a toilet in a bumfuck nowhere gas station.
I once had the shits and had to use a gas station bog at night in Scotland. Well I didn't get out.
Cunty bloke who worked there fucking locked me in with the shit smell and since then I've been horrified.

loud motors
cycles and bikes, cars, trucks doesnt matter

Sounds like someone has to google lotus breast...
Having Garlic bread on the same plate as Spaghetti
I think the hallways with a dead ends reminds you of working a dead end job and this causes your sense of dread
My biggest fear is also the definition of irrational, i am afraid I will be murdered and it will look like a suicide/people will believe it to be suicide. I mean how can I even realize that it has happened, i would be dead.
Maybe you should be on anxiety meds. Your fears seems irrational really. It's not healthy to carry this fear with no credible threat.
Using the vacuum at night, when I'm all alone.
Watching TV or playing a video game, phone etc while facing away from the room or entrance.
Once back in the PS1 days I used a code to walk through walls. I pass outside of a small room only to find infinity, a black endless void. My character kept walking, and never again encountered anything. That is almost like hell to me.

Too bad. I had a red party bulb in my apartment living room once. It got me laid. Red light makes chubby girls look skinnier too.
Being on the road with any other cars on the road. Simply cannot bring myself to trust anyone while driving and it absolutely blows. Makes me paranoid as heck even going to the gas station that's hardly even 2 miles away.

Like, fear of an engine pop? Fear of your eardrums getting blown out? What are we talking here
>>19171660
make into storage

just the sound of a loud revving engine basically

i was a graveshift janitor for a huge casino hotel once and i know the feel OP. i would be cleaning very remote, window-less, dead quiet areas like back hallways to nowhere, offices like pic related where nobody was supposed to be at but me. If i saw anybody else pop there head back there who wasn't my boss i would've fucking shit myself right then and there. I do kind of miss that spooky feeling working late though.

Crawling in my skin.

Trypophobia

Did that dim red room scene in Seed of Chucky cause your irrational fear by any chance?
>>19173912
Those fart cans on wheels ain't shit, man.
>>19174626
Chubby girls got that booty so who cares
Robotic female voice that plays in your voicemail.. had that happen to me before.. heard that shit in the hallway coming from my phone. needless to say, I didnt leave my room.
>>19174493
I have an irrational fear of when it starts to fucking rain in video games and the once normal sky look fucking dark and jump out of your skin terrifying. Games like Mortal Kombat Deception has the alternate reality mini game Konquest that does that and I always have to meditate the time away in the game, the moment I start seeing those dark void-like clouds. Also, Pokemon X and Y tries to make the weather look way too real by doing the same thing with the rain and snowstorms and sometimes I have to put my hand over the DS screen just not to see those traumatizing stormy weather graphics.

You mean Siri's robotic female voice?
>>19171833
This and whirlpools, like ones that you never expected to see laying about in the seemingly peaceful lake while canoeing.

>Watching TV or playing a video game, phone etc while facing away from the room or entrance.
This, specially when I'm in my room with the lights off. My heart starts beating so fast, man, it makes me very anxious, almost panicking sometimes
