People always imagine higher dimensions when they think of higher beings but the only way for God, the soul, etc. to exist would be for them to be non-physical and dimensionless, immune from being split apart or decaying into any lesser form. There's much more evidence to support the idea of dimensionless existence and energy than there is to support the idea of the multiverse, the multiverse of infinite realities is just another ad-hoc theory from mainstream science made up to explain how absolute mechanical randomness and entropy somehow becomes more ordered and starts obsessing over purpose. Appealing to causation as the evidence of God only begs the question of what caused God, and if that is explained away by saying "he always existed" then the universe could just as easily be explained in those terms, but much more rationally as an infinite cycle of big bangs and big crunches.
