What states within the US have the most spooky/paranormal rumors?

DC and Mississippi has most spooks and shadow people.

New Mexico definitely. Basically the entire 4 corners area but Western NM and Eastern AZ specifically spooky as hell.

If you want some tips for adventure I've got some locations plotted in the four corners area.

The entire area is littered with reservations and the closer you get to them/if you're on them the weirder and more frequently spooky shit happens. There's quite a few portals too, I have three of the portals plotted but still looking for the western portal.

here's a map ive been working on for a few weeks im trying to plot out portals and relevant links. basically a portal is an area of high strangeness. Skinwalker Ranch would be a portal, Stardust Ranch another one. Places where interdimensionals, ufos, timeline/interdimensional interplay, and paranormal activity occur alot usually linked to native american burial grounds, creation myth, or holy sites in the american southwest.

Massachusetts, Louisiana & Virginia. .. civil war battle grounds, old history spots, Salem witch crap. Lizzie Borden... slave states.

Northern Michigan has a lot of famous hauntes areas. No idea if any of it has any good story behind it. Summer nights can be a bit unnerving though.

Harper's Ferry in WV is pretty haunted. There are many, many stories of ghostly encounters in the city.

I lived there for two years and never encountered a ghost in the actual downtown, but did hear a ghostly army marching through the forest about a mile west of the point.

I'm from central Illinois. Nevermind rumors, I miss seeing dinosaur ghosts wandering about!

I liked them, but I figured I was just crazy, and so I expected I'd still see them when I left. Nope. I moved away from home and there are no dinosaur ghosts anywhere else so far. They looked like deinonychus.
