Instead of adapting to nature, we're forcing nature to adapt to us.

The complexity of our brains sets us apart. Our cerebrum is huge when compared to the brains of other animals and it's the intricacies and greater surface area of the cerebrum that allow us all those emotions and thoughts.

The urges are great because the ego is large and dominant. Learn some self control and rise above the wants of the ego. Only then will you see the true Self is hidden beyond its mask. we used our minds to out endure every other mammal on this planet. Humans being one of the slowest mammalian sprinters, we make up for it in endurance and tools. The Human is the most efficient mammal in long distance, slowly progressing, journeys due to our superior cooling mechanism of perspiration and handling of glycogen and fat storage.
