This really cool wand with a hemitite in it. I don't believe It casts magic spells or anything but it's very energetic and i like zoning out looking at the designs and things. Very nice to hold. If only it cast fireball or some shit.

Most occult thing?

Don't really have something like that, I think I'll default to my libary. Although I do have several enchanted personal items I think it's unfair to give them credit over my library.

However I've given it some thought, and I want the bullet that killed archduke franz ferdinand. To know a single object has shown human cruelity on a scale that makes cain look like a lemonade stand next to McDonalds.

Like, physically? Probably this. Most everything else I own is in ebook form, and I have neither enough money nor space for any sort of artifacts or anything.

I keep meaning to convert a toolbox or fishing tacklebox into a sort of "paranormal contingency kit" though. Hopefully once I get a reliable income, I can get something and fill it with various bits for protective and defensive measures against curses and boogedy-monsters.

Would also like to fill a bookshelf with all the best religious and occult texts, for reference.

That's a neat idea. I never thought to enchant or stick an entity in a musical instrument. What's it's objective? Keep it tuned, make it easier to play, something like that?

Now that's something I can get behind.

Goddammit. I started reading Swamp Thing to lead me up to Hellblazer, and initially I was thinking, "Well, now maybe I'll just keep reading Swamp Thing too," but now that I've actually reached Hellblazer, the load is a bit much, plus Swamp Thing has gotten utterly tedious to read. I don't give a fuck about this Sprout storyline, and I don't give a fuck about his romance with Abby. I just want it to go back to some weird gothic horror, and I have to wait through each issue of tedious philosophizing just to get back to some genuine spooks with Hellblazer.

I own a print of the rosicrucian manifestos from ouroboros press. if I recall, all versions were a one-time print in limited supply and I'm pretty sure I got the last one of a category as the listings for the text had disappeared the next day.

it's a nifty little thing. as for what I'd like to own I'd have to go with what many others in the thread have said, being human skull/remains. I'd hate to resort to graverobbing, but the prices out there for authentic remains are insane, and I'm not gonna' take a shitty knockoff one from a wicca shop.

Dedicate it to a god or goddess.
It must relate in some way.
Add the necessary modifications and define the strict rules about it every day. Eventually it should work on its own.

It came into my Grandad's possession "sometime after the war" he spent some time in Nepal and Tibet in the late 40's...he could actually play it, I can barely get a note outta that bitch. There's something very powerful about it though, it has an aura, almost, my grandad usedta scare me with it when I was little, telling tales of it's creation and purpose...he had me i tears once threatening to play it when I was like 5 or 6 and obsessed with ghosts and stuff...he and my Nana more or less brought me up, they were so loving, granddad just liked teasing me with it now and again...

Hmm.

A well-thumbed Marseilles Tarot deck I got 20+ years ago when I was a kid. (nothing spooky - bought it in a Parisian supermarket!)

- Use that to give readings on /div/ from time to time.

- Rather massive collection of books on Tarot, including some very rare late 19th century - early 20th century editions.

[Got rid of most of the occult books ages ago., though kept a few nice editions or collectors' books.]

- My Tarot notebook - hardback A5 black notebook, like a Moleskine knock-off. Have glued so many extra pages into it it's starting to crack at the seams. But that thing has a life of it's won, I reckon...

Beautiful, aren't they. The soft sheen, the superb gilding. Not to mention the centuries of wisdom they contain. I know people who would kill for a collection like this.

The "Ars Diaboli". You'll never see as many books on the subject anywhere else in the world. They're the rarest, the choicest editions in existence, it's taken me a lifetime to assemble them.

I've got an enamel pin that reads "centro para la investigación del ser humano", which translates to "human research center".

It features a golden pentagram over a white background and a red dot over each of the pentagram's lines intersection.

I bought it from an old shop that makes pins, trophies, etc. and has a bargain bin full of stuff people comissioned but never picked up.

There's absolutely nothing on the internet about the pin or the place.

that's very interesting. I've done quite a bit of research on foreigners in the area 20th century.

You might like Peter Hopkirk's book, mostly journalistic rather than serious history but very readable and entertaining. Foreign Devils on the Roof of the World is about the Great Game in Tibet.

I own this weird wood medal. I found it on a beach, when I was a kid. At first I thought it was some token from a bar, but it seems to be hand-crafted, too much to be some cheap token. Also, it doesnt have any copyright mark. And the Satan stick figure has clearly been marked with hot iron. It has been with me for years.

As for an occult thing, I would like to have a purpose in my life. If not possible, being initiated in actual esoteric knowledge from an actual practicioner who can claim he is a master of that discipline would be cool.

It's funny you should say that, I have a lucky penny. It's just a wheat cent with a fair bit of wear on it, but the circumstances by which it came into my possession lead me to believe there's something to it.

They're not carved, they're actually a kind of pottery.

>I would like to have a purpose in my life.
Take something you're passionate about and throw yourself into it. Eat, sleep, and breathe it until you can't stand another minute of it. Then drop it for a few months. If it pulls you back, then there's really something there. It doesn't matter if it's something dumb, it'll lead to something you'll be proud of. Trust me on this; I've read thousands of obituaries in the past year, I know what I'm talking about.
>>
>>19055797
Ha, cool! I like to make little things like that to barter at rainbow gatherings.
>>
>>19055027
Shit, I hope your job is remodeling or something, and I certainly hope that isn't your office! If so, at least you have a job, anyway.
>>
>>19055797
If you want to be initiated you're going to have to seek out a system and pursue it. There's O.T.O., Masonry (though it's a lot less esoteric than OTO and similar groups), Golden Dawn if they are still around, you can self-initiate into A.'.A.'. which is what I am in the process of doing (I'm also trying to hook up with my local OTO but they're not very easy to stay in touch with)

What if I end obssesed, and forget about the rest of my life?

To this day, I had a sense of fullfilement with hobbies, but not with real tasks, like a career. I think I could do a lot more than I am doing now. I just have the feeling that I need to be in an important place at the right time, or else my life will have been thrown to waste. But thanks for the help, though.

Also, does someone know if that carving has a meaning, or it is just someone who had fun with a hot iron shaped like Satan?
>>
>>19041499

A 5 AD script detailing the birth of the Buddha in Pali language. I obtained it through questionable means.

I would like to own the fucking Voynich Manuscript or the Codex GIgas AKA devils bible
>>
>>19057660

How does someone self-initiates into a system? What has A.'.A.'. that the other systems dont have?
>>
>>19057764
Well, A.'.A.'. has better potential for self-initiation than most organizations because of structural considerations of the rites, and none of the A.'.A.'. lineages extant are too appealing to me. Technically they are all "legit" which basically makes none of them legit as they are decentralized, etc. so That's why I am self-initiating.

How to:
Read ALL A.'.A.'. class B documents.read and understand Pyramidos, wait the probation period, then perform Pyramidos. You are now a Neophyte of A.'.A.'.

Ape can help a lot with questions on this over in the /omg/ thread, and all the texts are there too...but he is on vacation or something right now.
>>
>>19057711
Looks like it was worn as a necklace, anyway. Anon, if you are worried about getting obsessed with an every-day activity, the risk for various obsessions in occultism is, say, at least 10x higher than that.
>>
>>19041499
Got tattoos. Made hem myself. I think they were sigils but I can't remember
>>
>>19057660
Or they could join a real order, instead od a bunch of kiked out poseurs.
>>
>>19057879
look I know you're here to shill your norse system, and you're a neo-nazi and all, but just because an order fits your preconceived notions about reality does not make it a "real" order, any more than other orders' lack of fit to your pre-conceived notions makes it *not* a real order. Based on your posts, I don't see why anyone would want to join your inbred 'order' quite frankly. It obviously has not led you to enlightenment.

pic related i've held onto over 4 years.

my drawing skills are shit. time to time i can pull something from my ass, this be one of those moments. i think it a demon of some sorts as a poem accompanied it. cringe worthy, self debasing, filthy tripe better made non-exist than save.
never considered it 'occult' i own various things of worth. a crystal orb, black shiny stone, a dagger given to me by a roommate, a bible inherited and held in the family since childhood; handful of books that haven't been thumbed to nor understood to really give them worth a mention.

thumbed through*

I used to own a haunted piano I bought from some southern baptist church yard sale but my parents made me sell it. Total fucking shame too because the piano, despite some needed repairs was a nice antique and the ghost was a qt tsundere that couldn't haunt worth a shit.

Do you guys think your copies of Multiversity might be mystical in nature? If you believe in meme magic and all that shit and know how much Morrison likes to fuck around with the occult, you know there's something to that series. Morrison sure as hell believes his stories hold some spiritual weight to them, at least.

He also apparently designed the Invisibles to be a kind of hyper sigil or something, and that series is linger than most religious texts. The man knows his way around chaos magic.
