In some of the original mythology, skinwalkers were evil shapeshifters who got their power from killing people. Other times they were people who were cast out from their societies for being cannibals. The modern greentext version is a foul smelling creature of uncertain appearance that can be dispatched by the average fat neckbeard with more guns than friends. That said, I think pic related would make a pretty solid cheap horror movie.

God damn those digits. So I live on the cali coast on the site of an old chumash village. I read this book about the history of this ranch that goes back to when the spanish first discovered this area. It says when they landed and got to the bluff, there were burial markers as far as you could see. I have always had crazy vibes around here, skinwalker always comes to mind.

I don't recall any stories of one of them going down just from gunfire. There's the story where the one ODs and the other where one dies from getting barricaded in a burning building, but I don't recall a greentext where being shot does more then cause mild pain.
