No problem. The Corpus Hermeticum is fundamental. As I mentioned above, Ophiel's Art and Practice of the Occult is a good intro to the elementals. The book the Perennial Tradition explains some of the history and how Hermes Trismegistus (later known as the god Thoth) tapped into this divine knowledge as other philosophers had done. Philosophy was much more than the academic philosophy practiced today.
