Personally I'd go down the theurgic route. You need to be establishing a direct connection with the All and losing yourself in it. Ego death, it's the perfect spiritual reset. A large dose of psilocybin mushrooms or DMT will probably do the trick.

If he's a serious occultist, I assume he knows what he's doing and can handle a bit of fucking drugs. The point of high dose psychedelics is ego death, allowing oneness and a direct connection to the All. It's a reset button. And it's a little arrogant to assume that, just because YOU fail to reach true oneness through drugs, better magicians can't. The various varieties of drugs are fantastic ways to achieve the different altered states of consciousness required for magickal work.

It's not like being able to achieve some semblance of ego death makes you super advanced or something. Chemical assistance is useful if he's feeling blocked, it will allow him to reopen his mind. Like you said, they are a crutch, but he's spiritually injured so give him some crutches! You are very welcome to doubt that I've personally achieved oneness through drugs, all I can say is try it for yourself and get back to me. They're not the only route, certainly not the best route, but they're a very efficient one if you're running out of options.

"oneness" is a vague term. I have experimented with many psychedelics. Almost all of them make you feel "at one" with everything in the right dosage. That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Certainly doesn't mean 'ego death' just don't think it's the best way to go about it it.

I always had interest and have meditated for years, but the goetia was new until a week while in deep meditation a rough voice seemed to reach out to me. I successfully summoned a demon a year ago and the results were favorable. I don't know if I'm allowed to disclose the details even the demon's name so I'm not gonna say the reason why I summoned the demon.

I did write the sigil on paper but didn't know about writing my name on the pentacle and yet it still worked.

I think I burned the original sigil already or haven't yet and probably misplaced it. I don't remember but I think I can make another one just in case. I'm really thankful to that demon and promised I would offer a gift although it's taking a lot of time.

Do you have any suggestion?
