Why do I keep having this recurring dream.
>Drifting off into sleep
>In this weird dream like state, not quite dreaming or awake
>In a black void, feel like I'm going upwards, feels like floating in open abyss
>Continue descending until I feel like there's something right beyond my "vision" (can't really see)
>Not a bad feeling, but feels very intense, like I'm about to be consumed
>Feel reluctant, nervously wake up
I've been having this dream for about the last few months or so.
Should I allow this void to consume me? It's bothered me for a while now, I want to know what it is that is there, what's beyond, I just feel like I won't be able to handle it.
It sounds like you are astral projecting and you should go down the rabbit hole.

This. You should probably read this book first though, just so you don't get lost.

i love the void in meditation and sleep, it feels like it's connected to everything and everyone and all i feel there is peace and euphoria
i love it the way i love heroin, i would live there if i could

Happens to me when I do wake induced lucid dreaming.
ive had something similar to this...
I always thought it was entering dreamland in a more lucid state...
most of the time before im fully "consumed" i wake up because the feeling is too strong
