I really can't stand the "You have one life, so love life and live to the fullest" shit for one simple reason: What do people like that have to say to people who have some kind of life-ruining problem? How am I supposed to "love life" if I'm paralyzed, covered in burn scars, a victim of genital mutilation, or have some other thing that makes life a living hell? Or even if it's something less traumatic but just as injurious to quality of life, like if I'm just so fucking ugly that no one will ever want me?

YOLO only works for able-bodied middle-to-upper class people in the first world. Be an atheist if you must, if you think that's what the evidence indicates. But don't try to run away from the negative implications of it, or ignore things that are inconvenient for your "feeling good about annihilation" philosophy.
