So /x/ I've decided to begin practicing magic. Unfortunately i live in an extremely rural area so i have no access to anyone who knows what theyre talking about, and with google i dont know where to begin. Has anyone got some useful advice? For example what books to get, beginner tier rituals, that kind of thing. All serious input would be much appreciated

First off, be thankful that you're in an extremely rural area. If you already feel well connected to that sort of environment, the isolation will give you more flexibility with what you can practice and where you can practice it.
Secondly, remember that magic in the end is highly subjective and whatever sort of path you choose to take should speak to you on a psychological level. Read up on different occult philosophies and see what sorts of perspectives make the most sense to you. If the symbolism in your rituals mean absolutely nothing to you, then the rituals probably won't be all that effective.
I'd suggest you look at these two YouTubers to give you a starting point:

Styx is especially good to look into because he covers a wide variety of subjects from different traditions and sources. He takes a very measured approach to magic which is good for someone like me who grew up with a more rationalist perspective on the world.
Here's also a great book that looks at scientific knowledge (or at least the knowledge of the time) with occultism and spirituality:

In occultism, spirituality and science can actually feed off of each other rather than cancel each other out. Perspective is the the key.
First things first, find the path that suits you. For that, I would suggest reading Secret Teachings of All Ages. Beyond that, just find books on your particular tradition and read them with a grain of salt.

Decide what you want to do. Google how to do it.
You want money? Look up spells to get it. Keep trying stuff until you find what works.

Have you checked the /omg/ thread and the library? There's a section for beginners.
If I have a large aura or ki or whatever, should I practice magic or something else?

The book that is key, to the truth unlock,
I've heard is rarely kept in stock.
But he that seeks knowledge, may seek and find--
The book of the key and the lock.
