Yes. The most important step is to make it clear that you accepting contact at that time, including indicating when you're ready to stop. Visualization works, because the brain focuses, uses a lot of energy creating a recursive shape of itself, then suddenly it stops doing that, creating a noticable window of time.

If you have difficulty imagining yourself clearly, you can look at drawings, or other art to reinforce the image in your mind. However digital screens don't work as well.

So, for example, you could create a picture of yourself sitting outside looking at a piece of paper and imagining three people who are imagining you back. This sends a clear signal that when you're outside, sitting and looking at a piece of paper that has the scene of the thing you're doing, then you're probably accepting contact at that time. And when you put the paper away, you're probably finished, so they know to end their contact with your visualization as well.
