What do you even do at the meetings?

Mostly just boring club administration proceedings. Votes on fee changes, news updates from Provincial and Grand Lodge, reports from the Lodge charity steward, almoner, treasurer, et al. If there are any eligible candidates, we'll also perform degrees too. We then end with a large meal, usually 3 or 4 courses for £20–£30 including wine (depending on the venue).

You can evade, but I have close family in the lodge, some very high ranked, i'm just wondering how things go in another countries.
