a) understanding quantum physics affects the amount of time you have to exist

b) quantum physics represents a tier of technological understanding previously unknown to philosophers

c) quantum physics represents a relatively academic industrial capstone development, where resources are heavily invested into research, technology, and engineering projects instead of improving the lives of human beings directly

d) understanding quantum physics changes your 'normal' consideration of the universe, in a way that's parallel to understanding algebra. You get a little smarter from caring about the location of electrons or about the types and functions of subatomic particle-waves almost invisible to human instruments.

Existentialism aside, at least attempting to understand philosophy and quantum physics is sort of beneficial for the development of your brain and mind.

With that said, Quantum Mechanics allows linear time based thinkers an infinite amount of chances to go "Oops, I guess there was really THIS much energy at these coordinates all along. We just didn't detect it before," because it was in the part of the wave equation that represents errors due to interference from the rest of the universe outside of the experimental apparatus.

It's the thermodynamic equivalent of "there's always a bigger fish."

Thus Quantum Mechanics allows linear time based thinkers, and non-linear time based thinkers to interface with the same channel, since the linear time based thinkers always have the fall back option of "oh, it was all just an interference error. We didn't REALLY detect the impossible thing that defies linearity." Whereas the non-linear time based thinker knows that there are many possible timeline coordinate systems, and no timeline that contains them all, short of "here" and "now." Just as the set theorist knows there are many forms of calculus, but none which is any more THE only one than another, and the programmer knows that there is no digital code that can calculate its own run time faster than the time it takes to arrive at that moment.

If black matter and anti matter are real, wouldn't there be equal parts with all matter, meaning there is an identical earth and identical you out there right now in your same timeline, only made up of anti matter.
