We're sentient beings, but not one of us is the god of this universe. We are all gods of infinite universes in the multiverse. Each of us presides over variants of this universe due to the infinite possibilities within the multiverse. That's why I don't believe any religion. Sure, there exists a universe created by God where Jesus was his Messiah, but, in another universe, I am that God, so worship sounds pretty fucking pointless, because, in the grand scheme of things, we're all equal. If you took the anti-matter and negative energy of the multiverse and counterbalanced it with matter and energy, it would equate to nothing. And, because eventually something has to happen, the start of the multiverse needs no actual "starting point" or creator, as it will eventually happen. Creationists and believers of Intelligent Design will argue that the universe coming about due to nothing is like a tornado going through a junkyard and assembling a fully functional jet airliner. Silly, right? However, given enough time and tornadoes, eventually it will happen.
