You should watch Twin Peaks. There's one scene that's hauntingly captivating. One of the characters starts to sing a really upbeat tune and walks into a room where others are discussing something series. Then the two characters start to dance and play a long with the character who's singing because he's mentally unwell but while you are watching that scene it feels completely natural. It's so weird and I'm not the only one to notice this phenomenon as others who watch the show claim the exact same thing. It's only when you Re watch the clip you realise how weird and out of place it is.

the point isn't what it looks like, the point is that the build up is so horrifying that no matter what "it" is it's going to freak you the fuck out. First time I saw that it was fucking fantastic, I don't think a movie has ever given me that good of a creeped out feeling before, only in dreams. It's better when you see it in the context of the movie, though, so I really wish people would stop posting the isolated clip online and ruining it for people.
