If our world is a simulation then the reality simulating us is almost certainly a simulation as well, as well as the simulation the level above that and so on. My question is: is there a simulation level below us, and how do we access it?
>>18926187
do you play video games?
>>18926187
There's a life simulation program available. Can't remember the name, but you could decide the nation of birth and the gender of the person.
It's just text but it's definitely a life simulator.

Further question: Entities from the reality level above us could easily program controllable simulated versions of themselves into our reality.
Further, we could construct a physical body and run a sample of the mind of a being from the simulation level below of us inside it.
Are there any of these trans-reality-level beings in our simulation currently? What do they look like and do?
>>18926214
what if we are those entities?
>>18926226
if we are such level-transplanted creatures then is there a way to return my consciousness to my native level? Is that what the afterlife is?
>>18926259
it's a possibility.
>>18926260
if that were the case, i would certainly hope things are better on the other side. this sim sucks.

>is there a simulation level below us, and how do we access it?

is that game worth the learning curve?
>>18926295
I have the same question

no idea unfortunately, I was just namechecking/memeing.

My uneducated guess is that if there is an NPC then it's fully part of the program and not a real person who lives above. Think of angel encounters like hitchhikers who know your name and stuff like that.
If it is true, then we are completely synthetic. Then what is our purpose if everything is synthetic? Also, then if we are synthetic, a program, then everything is rigged by a program code. Then you and I are rigged and this thread is rigged. Then shouldnt using a computer be a kind of very old technology if this is indeed a simulation?

The problem with this theory is that 'simulation' suggests that reality is fake, in some way.
Personally, I propose calling it layered or dependent reality.
Either way, it assumes that, at some level, there is a baseline, 'true' reality.
>>18927362
Synthetic or not?
>>18926187
We need to simulate it for it to be bellow us, retard.

>My question is: is there a simulation level below us, and how do we access it?
Games are kind of simulation. Game characters aren't self-sentient but they are 'linked' to us just like how Angels, Demons, Deities are interlinked to us IRL.
All these minute details and historical memory of 'our past' and 'their past' cloud our thoughts to make us think "this is the real life"
Anything is reality because consciousness is the key. Even dreams are "real"/simulations and dreams which take up about a third of our life (8 hours daily) reminds us that life itself is 1/3 simulation.
>>18927954
we only spend about 2 hours dreaming per sleep cycle though
>>18928393
>we only spend about 2 hours dreaming per sleep cycle though
Lol.. oh man. I have 10 min naps that result in multiple dreams
>>18927954
Video game characters have all the feelings and emotions they were created to feel, just like us.
We create it dumb ass. /thread
Seriously though, the second we are able to simulate an entire universe, that is the second we also discover that we live inside one. 'Cause the chances that we actually live in the real universe becomes nearly 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%.
The Sims, the pc game is a small universe... AIs that act like they are alive but they aren't, they are just programmed to have their own set of laws and physics
THE DARK MATRIX HAS IMPLODED UPON ITSELF.
BRING IN THE REBEL ALLIANCE!

It's turtles all the way down. If you don't understand infinite regress. This is low quality shit posting.
>>18926187
figure out how to hack it, or exploit glitches in just the right way
or wait until cern accidentally discovers the universal debugging tool
>>18926187
I guess eventually quantum physics might evolve to the point of breaking/bugging/hacking the universe. Probably not, though.
It would open up so many possibilities if we did, tho.
