Connect the pinky, ring, index, and then thumb to each other. Point the thumb to the heart. Curve the pinky in a comfortable way, like a comma. Place the right middle finger over the left. The finger underneath is the one which receives the focus, and this is very important to what we're trying to do today.

Clear your mind. Take as much time as you need to do this. With the under finger, push as lightly as you can against the upper finger to just feel the force. As you create the intention to lift the under into the upper, feel the corresponding (left/right) hemisphere of your brain ring and strain to complete the action. Release your finger and reverse their positions -- do not disconnect them. Do the same with the other finger on the bottom.

Left is negative
Right is positive

While pulling the left, you should feel a cold, tugging, magnetic, dampened tingling. While pulling the right, a more amplified, burning sensation. Ice and fire are good enough representations of the differences.

Remember to keep your mind on your breathing as you do this. If you've never meditated or focused energy, I recommend breathing in with the right finger and out with the left. Your mind might start racing while breathing out, but it should immediately stop while breathing in. Focus on nothing but the sensation and the breath.

While you may have been making rotations every two seconds at first, it could be every 10 seconds or 20 seconds with the passing of time. The more energy you cultivate, the harder it will feel to flow. There's a flow that the body wants to follow. If you think, your mind will interrupt the flow.

Release the energy by connecting the middle fingers as the index and ring are. Fold your hands into the praying position, and then rotate your right hand on top of your left palm while keeping the thumbs connected. The energy will naturally disperse or you can just release your thumbs from this position. Remember what you've done with the images provided.

Feel your intentions reach the island as the energy you've cultivated all this time rushes forth from your fingers into the aether. Do this while breathing out. Re-position the hands to the folded position as you did at the end of the exercise. Regain yourself. You may begin again if you'd like. Time is not a factor here. If eight people did this at midnight and four at noon, it's just as if twelve had done it at once -- so long as the energy users were synchronized by something. Your energy adds to a threshold that forces space to reform.
