am i a cripple for life?

About a month and a half ago i watched a video that had high frequency sound which affects the brain directly. As soon as i hit play the middle of my prefrontal cortex retracted inwards severing some path between the hemispheres and a cavity behind my eyes started to expand. Everything is fixed in an unnatural position crippling my intellectual capacities

the technology does exist just look at this patent, low frequency flickering images can affect the brain

https://www.google.com/patents/US6506148

does anyone know any video or anything that can help me fix myself?

it takes a long time to heal a broken arm

my advice is to try out the videos that were already posted and/or to go to a healer

getting a scan of brain might also be advisable

Seems likely it could just be psychogenic. Definitely have it medically evaluated, and if that turns up nothing, I'd reach into the bait bucket of mindhacking techniques.

Since you may be very susceptible to suggestion, seeing a hypnotherapist or using sigil magic might be useful.

this is now a schizophrenia/ psychosis awareness thread- get anon the help he needs

Tactile hallucination is the false perception of tactile sensory input that creates a hallucinatory sensation of physical contact with an imaginary object. It is caused by the faulty integration of the tactile sensory neural signals generated in the spinal cord and the thalamus and sent to the primary somatosensory cortex (SI) and secondary somatosensory cortex (SII).[2] Tactile hallucinations are recurrent symptoms of neurological diseases such as schizophrenia, Parkinson's disease, Ekbom's syndrome and delerium tremens.

the most common tactile hallucination in patients with schizophrenia is a sensation in which a patch of their skin is stretched elastically across their head. They vary in intensity, range and speed at which they feel this stretching painful sensation. They are usually triggered by emotional cues such as guilt, anger, fear and depression

Such vivid tactile sensation of an object that is not present results from the unsuccessful attempt of the brain trying to perceive objects that are novel and that represent unreal situations usually triggered by guilt and fear.[4] Patients with schizophrenia also have a hard time portraying emotions as they divert most of their energy to control the pain from their tactile hallucinations.[4]

What are delusions?

Certainty: Individuals that hold delusions are certain in their beliefs; they believe with 100% conviction that they are real, despite significant logical evidence to the contrary.

Incorrigibility: Those with delusions will not update their false beliefs even if presented with overwhelming logical evidence suggesting that the opposite is true. Despite scientific evidence to suggest that their way of thinking is flawed, they aren’t able to escape their deluded perception.

Impossibility: The delusion that a person holds is not only untrue, but generally impossible or highly implausible to be true. Some of the delusions may not only seem like an obvious impossibility, but they may seem highly bizarre.
>>
Examples of Cognitive Problems Associated with Schizophrenia ----

--Lack of insight (called anosognosia). Those who are developing schizophrenia are unaware that they are becoming sick. The part of their brain that should recognize that something is wrong is damaged by the disease.
--Racing thoughts
--In conversation you tend to say very little (called poverty of speech or alogia)
--Suddenly halting speech in the middle of a sentence (thought blocking)

--Trouble with social cues- i.e. not being able to interpret body language, eye contact, voice tone, and gestures appropriately. --Often not responding appropriately and thus coming off as cold, distant, or detached.
--Difficulty expressing thoughts verbally. Or not having much to say about anything.
--Speaking in an abstract or tangential way. Odd use of words or language structure
--Difficulty focusing attention and engaging in goal directed behavior
--Poor concentration/ memory. Forgetfulness

--Nonsensical logic
--Difficulty understanding simple things
--Thoughts, behavior, and actions are not integrated
--Obsessive compulsive tendencies- with thoughts or actions
--Thought insertion/ withdrawal- thoughts are put it or taken away without a conscious effort
--Conversations that seem deep, but are not logical or coherent
>>
A delusion is a firmly-held idea that a person has despite clear and obvious evidence that it isn’t true. Delusions are extremely common in schizophrenia, occurring in more than 90% of those who have the disorder. Often, these delusions involve illogical or bizarre ideas or fantasies, such as:

Delusions of persecution – Belief that others, often a vague “they,” are out to get you. These persecutory delusions often involve bizarre ideas and plots (e.g. “Martians are trying to poison me with radioactive particles delivered through my tap water”).

Delusions of reference – A neutral environmental event is believed to have a special and personal meaning. For example, you might believe a billboard or a person on TV is sending a message meant specifically for you.

Delusions of grandeur – Belief that you are a famous or important figure, such as Jesus Christ or Napoleon. Alternately, delusions of grandeur may involve the belief that you have unusual powers, such as the ability to fly.

Delusions of control – Belief that your thoughts or actions are being controlled by outside, alien forces. Common delusions of control include thought broadcasting (“My private thoughts are being transmitted to others”), thought insertion (“Someone is planting thoughts in my head”), and thought withdrawal (“The CIA is robbing me of my thoughts”).
>>
Changes in Behavior associated with schizophrenia ----

--Dropping out of activities and life in general
--Inability to form or keep relationships

--Social isolation- few close friends if any. Little interaction outside of immediate family.

--Increased withdrawal, spending most of the days alone.

--Becoming lost in thoughts and not wanting to be disturbed with human contact

--Neglect in self-care- i.e. hygiene, clothing, or appearance

--Replaying or rehearsing conversations out loud- i.e. talking to yourself (very common sign)

--Finding it difficult to deal with stressful situations

--Inability to cope with minor problems

--Lack of goal-directed behavior. Not being able to engage in purposeful activity

--Functional impairment in interpersonal relationships, work, education, or self-care

--Deterioration of academic or job-related performance

--Inappropriate responses- laughing or smiling when talking of a sad event, making irrational statements.

--Catatonia- staying in the same rigid position for hours, as if in a daze.

--Intense and excessive preoccupation with religion or spirituality

--Drug or alcohol abuse
--Smoke or have the desire to want to smoke (70-90% do smoke) - note: this is a very normal behavior for people who do not have schizophrenia also!

--Frequent moves, trips, or walks that lead nowhere
>>
Disorganized speech

Schizophrenia can cause you to have trouble concentrating and maintaining a train of thought, externally manifesting itself in the way that you speak. You may respond to queries with an unrelated answer, start sentences with one topic and end somewhere completely different, speak incoherently, or say illogical things.

Common signs of disorganized speech include:

Loose associations – Rapidly shifting from topic to topic, with no connection between one thought and the next.

Neologisms – Made-up words or phrases that only have meaning to you.

Perseveration – Repetition of words and statements; saying the same thing over and over.

Clang – Meaningless use of rhyming words (“I said the bread and read the shed and fed Ned at the head").
>>
Criteria to diagnose schizophrenia
The presence of two or more of the following symptoms for at least 30 days:
Hallucinations
Delusions
Disorganized speech
Disorganized or catatonic behavior
Negative symptoms (emotional flatness, apathy, lack of speech)
>>
Specific Themes of Delusions

Delusions of control: This is defined as a false belief that an external being, group, or energy is capable of controlling a person’s thoughts, ultimately influencing their emotions and behavior. Those experiencing delusions of control may believe that a group of people is forcing them to drive around the block three times, move their right arm up and down, or kick a fire hydrant.

Thought broadcasting: This is the false belief that a person’s thoughts can be heard by others as if they are audible to everyone in their environment.

Thought insertion: This is the false belief that others are inserting specific thoughts into the person’s head. A person may believe that they are being forced to think about the Mayan calendar by a religious group.

Thought withdrawal: This is the false idea that people are able to intercept and remove a person’s thoughts. A person may believe that their thoughts are being “stolen” from their brain by others.
>>
>>18870186
anon has made this thread daily for weeks now
>>
Capgras delusions: This is a type of delusion in which a person believes that someone they know (e.g. a family member or friend) has been replaced by an impostor with an identical appearance.

This specific delusional theme often occurs among those that have been formally diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, dementia, or those that have endured a brain injury.
>>
Delusions of reference: An individual may believe that seemingly normal, insignificant events or occurrences have significant meaning. An example would be finding a penny on the ground and believing that it is a sign that the person is guaranteed to win the lottery. Another example would be watching a TV show and thinking that the host of the show has included specific messages just for them (e.g. seeing the color blue and believing it was preplanned because it’s the person’s favorite color).

Somatic delusions: A somatic delusion is a false belief that relates to a person’s body (functioning, sensations, etc.) and/or physical appearance. An example would be someone thinking that they are carrying a rare virus or that mites have burrowed under their skin and are eating their intestines.

Perhaps you’ve heard of the man who thought he was dead? In reality he was very much alive. His delusion became such a problem that his family finally paid for him to see a psychiatrist.

The psychiatrist spent many laborious sessions trying to convince the man he was still alive.

Nothing seemed to work.

Finally the doctor tried one last approach. He took out his medical books and proceeded to show the patient that dead men don’t bleed. After hours of tedious study, the patient seemed convinced that dead men don’t bleed.

“Do you now agree that dead men don’t bleed?” the doctor asked.

“Yes, I do,” the patient replied.

“Very well, then,” the doctor said.

He took out a pin and pricked the patent’s finger. Out came a trickle of blood.

The doctor asked, “What does that tell you?”

“Oh my goodness!” the patient exclaimed as he stared incredulously at his finger … “Call the newspapers Dead men do bleed!!”

There are a series of 3 membranes, known as the meninges. The outermost is a thick layer lining and attached to the skull, the dura mater. Directly against and attached to the brain is the pia mater. In between these two is the arachnoid mater, a very loose membrane attaching the other two.

It is also surrounded in a fluid, the cerebrospinal fluid, which cushions any movement that does occur. And it is pretty tightly against the skull, there isn't allot of room for sloshing

Ok i get it now, you really are sick in the head, but its not what your saying, your very much delusional. Those ventricles dont move, they never have. They are in a fixed position to begin with. Please seek proffesional help and quit posting here.
>>
>>18870572
How can you feel that? And why have you backpedaled from your original claim that your brain physically retracted inwards? Now you're saying that it's just locked in place and hasn't moved

I didnt backpedal i literally drew what i have in the head

its probably way smaller than what i drew but thats how i feel
>>
>>18869756
Through deep meditation and a strict yoga regimen, you can recover fully. It will not be easy and it will take time and discipline, but what else have you got to do?

Hes delusional, if it hasnt been proven previously it has been now, id suggest you screen cap all the examples of him being wrong and post it when he makes a thread tomorrow.

No, no you can't, there aren't nerve endings in your brain. They can do brain surgery on awake patients.

You also still ignored the question, so you can "feel" it (you can't, your brain can't feel), but how do you know what the problem is simply from a feeling? Like I said, a million different things can feel like a heart attack for example, you don't know.

You are definitely delusional get help. A normal person would say im having weird symptoms, somethings wrong with my head, I need an mri. You are so specific in your diagnoses, it can only be a delusion.

When have you ever heard somebody say "i have a brain tumor in X part of my brain and it's pushing on X causing X without a mri or diagnosis? Never. We can't even diagnose sepsis in ourselves, we mistake it for flu. You don't know, and the fact that you think you do is the issue here.

It's real simple, your latent mental illness has kicked in causing tactile sensations, your thinking has been impaired by it, to justify this you make this story and your illness motivates you to do it.
>>
So sad
>>
>>18870624
They are attempting to portray whats written in the OP

>>
>>18870614
I can swear that i'm a pink elephant. I can even actually think i'm one, does that make me a pink elephant?

No you CANNOT feel your brain, you only believe you can. This means it's a mental illness. It's really simple anon, come on, stop, and think.

This is how you sound...

When I fly, I can feel my...

Me - You can't fly, it's impossible.

I SWEAR I CAN FLY
>>
>>18870632
Your arms, and skin in general, are full of nerve endings that perceive touch and pain. Your brain doesn't have these. That was a bad analogy. You're delusional breh
>>
>>18870636
>No you CANNOT feel your brain
I CAN I SWEAR IT BY MY LIFE I ALWAYS COULD
>>
>>18870632
If they cut your brain open with a scalpel, you wouldn't feel it. Your arm is not your brain. Read very fucking carefully you idiot.

You cannot feel your brain.

If you think you can feel your brain, you can't.

Any feelings you have, are mental illness causing tactile sensations.

You would be the only person in the world to feel their brain, now which is more likely?
>>
>>18870641

the most common tactile hallucination in patients with schizophrenia is a sensation in which a patch of their skin is stretched elastically across their head. They vary in intensity, range and speed at which they feel this stretching painful sensation. They are usually triggered by emotional cues such as guilt, anger, fear and depression
>>
>>18870642
THEN YOU WERE ALWAYS CRAZY WOW

Your brain has no feelings, you cannot feel your brain. Again, if you can feel your brain, you can't. You only think you can, you are mentally ill. You can feel your head, you can feel the muscles and tendons on your head, and they can feel like the inside of your head, but you can't feel your brain.

Why do you think stroke victims only show symptoms of mental impairment and don't grab their head like a heart attack?

Are you really that far gone you can't logic anymore? What's that like?

No you aren't. You've set your mind on this video and are completely blocking out all other options. That's delusional, and the more you swear that this is the only option, the more apparent your delusion gets.

If you truly want to help yourself, then help yourself. Don't rely on some random guy to post a video that has a slight chance of healing you. A video that you aren't even sure exists. You know what, they might be paranormal. But anyone who will believe your story without at least some form of proof is mentally unstable and won't be able to actually help you. If you really want to get better, do what this anon is saying >>18870715

Binaural tones are only useful as an aid to either relax you or make you alert. People who claim they will produce very specific effects are either lying, uninformed or have experienced placebo effects.
I use binaurals all the time because they are relaxing. The only other thing they are verified as doing is synchronizing the hemispheres of the brain so that both sides are working at full speed, so to speak.
There are no "magical abilities" of binaural beats.

>>18870791

Internet addiction disrupts nerve wiring in the brains of teenagers, a study has found - causing a level of brain damage normally seen in heavy substance abusers.
Similar effects have been seen in the brains of people exposed to alcohol, cocaine and cannabis.

The discovery shows that being hooked on a behaviour can be just as physically damaging as addiction to drugs, scientists believe.
Brain scans showed significant damage to white matter in the brain, proving, the researchers claim, that 'behavioural' addictions can cause physical brain damage in the same way as drug addictions.

Internet addiction disorder (IAD) is a recently recognised condition characterised by out-of-control internet use.
Sufferers spend unhealthy amounts of time “online” to the extent that it impairs their quality of life.
Denied access to their computers, they may experience distress and withdrawal symptoms including tremors, obsessive thoughts, and involuntary typing movements of the fingers.

No matter how many videos we show him it'll never be the right one, because that's the basis of his delusion.

>being hooked on a behaviour can be just as physically damaging as addiction to drugs
I agree it can be harmful but I'm not buying this. Actual drugs have a chemical component which will do you harm. No one is getting lung cancer or having their teeth rot because they looked at a computer screen too much.

>As the physiological effect of low-frequency stimulation has only been explored in cursory fashion, it needs to be studied further through research and clinical tests. Left to itself this would take a long time, since the matter is controversial and the physiological dynamics is influenced by obscure factors such as conditioning, sensitization, habituation and the placebo effect, as well as by the initial state of the endocrine- and autonomic nervous system.

>Meanwhile however, people may be at risk of having their nervous system manipulated covertly by unscrupulous individuals.

>Under these extraordinary circumstances, it was decided to write software for pulsing the brightness of monitor images and make the software available to the public, so that people can determine their susceptibility to the sensory stimulation, take protective steps, and generate collective concern that may spur appropriate further action.

Doctor Anon here(real Doctor, not Google degree), I dont think you know me but I show up sometimes on this board, hopefully someone will remember me so that you can be at ease.
I have to do this even if from my perspective you are just a bad troll, but I can't risk to not help someone who might be in need. Get an MRI and tell me here when you got it, I will give you a link where to send it and I will look at it. I dont know where you live but please describe your problem to a doctor before doing it and if he doesnt take you seriously we'll see what we can do together. Anyway if you are just someone with tuo much time to waste I invite you to reconsider your action as you might instill useless paranoia in more weak minded people, maybe you dont understand the burden that schizofrenia is for someone who is working hard to live with it (or for someone that still wasnt diagnosed withit) but I assure you it's more than most can chew. I whish you best of luck anyway and I will be back to check in something like 12/18 hours to read your answer. Please dont bother trolling (if you are) but just tell me you'll follow my instruction, I won't be able to help you in and other way.

Okay, but thing is, you can't FEEL your brain.
Even when you get headaches, it's just the membrane surrounding your brain that you're feeling pain in.

There's no way that you would be able to know that - 1) A part of your brain moved, 2) Which part of your brain moved, or 3) That there's no other possible explanation for the symptoms you claim to be experiencing - WITHOUT SEEING A GODDAMN DOCTOR. Pleeeaaase stop making these threads asking random people on the internet to do the impossible and get your ass to a neurologist and also probably a psychiatrist so you can figure your shit out and stop making yourself worse.

The lack of exercise is a precursor for a wide range of health issues so that in itself is a massive concern when youre sitting around for 6-8 hours + wasting your youth away. Longevity is the last thing all these people will be seeing if they fail to remove this harmful habit from their lives.
But hey, survival of the fittest amirite?
