The translations of the Ars Notoria I have seen all mention a way to 'entangle' two compass needless with a lodestone for communication over distances.
The actual method for doing this is usually not included for some reason.... Weird.
Does anyone know where I can get a hold of it?

I'm also interested. Seems like a cool idea. Although I'm absolutely sure the ritual procedures as laid out in the Ars Notoria aren't particularly important, I'd be interested in seeing how this book gets those involved in the ritual to become invested in the idea of entangling compasses so much so as to actually entangle them.
No ritual necessary, just natural magnetism doing its work. Two chunks simply being of the same original stone is enough.

seems to me the idea is that when one person moves the needle in one compass, the other needle orients itself to the same position in the other compass, no matter where the two compasses are located.

Do you.... Do you seriously not know how magnets work?

I expect an actual experiment of this to occur, post results

Soon as I can figure out how Solomon did it, I'll let you know.

Experiment? Where do you think you are?
Sounds like you're referring to quantum entanglement.
