Yeah I don't know how reliable it is but I remember reading that she was depressed partly because she felt lonely, there was a throwaway line on Wikipedia about how she liked one of her coworkers so she made him a cake for his birthday but he was dating someone else.

She was really depressed and she killed herself like a week after she did a news report on suicide. She learned the method that way. On air when before she shot herself, she said something along the lines of "Now watch an attempted suicide" and bang. I want to see it so bad.
