Can self harm make you more susceptible to demons or other malicious entities?
>inb4 get help faggot
Working on it.

Of course not. What is your name, child?
>>18844604
It shouldn't, to my knowledge. In my experience the only thing leading to vulnerability to demons is spiritual constitution. Physical constitution outside of exertion of energy via binding/what have you shouldn't be a factor in it.

Thank you for the insight friend
In my experience, as a recovering SH-er and someone who knows both psychology and demonology fairly well, it's not the self-harm itself that might cause it, but it might end up being "comorbid" with those things that might end up causing it.
Namely, hating oneself, wanting to die, wanting an alternative, etc. A demon might attempt to guide you into hurting yourself.
Not to imply those are the only reasons it might happen, but nah.
Self harm and demons are like tornadoes and hail. They don't cause each other; they are both brought forth by the same things.

Also, are you like... ok?

Elsa, it's important that you listen to the most honest part of your soul, as opposed to the fake bravado that tells you how great you are...You know the truth. Sometimes, we deserve the hurt. Sometimes we deserve a lot of the hurt. Sometimes we deserve all of the hurt. It's Ok. When you are ready, I'll be waiting for You on the other side.

Is... Is this poster about to kill themselves? This is some suicide note shit.

Sometimes I feel like I don't have a partner. Sometimes I feel like my only friend...

Negotiation time.
Dude, try to calm down. You have a family, right? What are they like?
Self harm is shit and leaves a permanent reminder to your weakness. Think of it like a tattoo that you wish you didn't have. I have done it and the release is great at the moment but you will forever be explaining weird scars to people.

All is going to be ok. Just trying to heal myself and I want to be aware of obstacles I may face while doing so.
>>18844775
Yeah it's shitty. I'm lying constantly about work related accidents. Wish I could be honest and brave because I'm only perpetuating the stigma

Ugh, they couldn't at least wait a month. Alright, I can tell you what's attached, but I don't have time right now. Leave me a throwaway or something.
