I have an experience that has halted me from ever going camping again. Sorry if it doesn't interest you, but I'm gonna post anyways.

>I have the vision you get when you get up to fast, and I can't see anything

I was camping on Santa Cruz island with a small research group when my friends tent started shaking Around like in Blair witch. Once it stopped I heard footsteps running away from our campsite, so I woke my buddy up and went outside to check it out. We had one other tent full of people but it was in the opposite direction of where the running was heading, and as far as I know we were the only people on the whole island. Truely the creepiest thing that's ever happened to me.

Im 29 btw, and this was just before it was common for teenagers to have mobile or cell phones, etc. Never understood quite wtf happened out there. Was never a ghost believing kid, certainly wasnt a nervous kid. We dont really come that way in Australia, especially 15 years ago. But I still get chills down my spine thinking about that and I think of it quite often. I can never shake the feeling I was somehow being lured. Could not even imagine by what and I've never had a similar incident since.

Finnish /x/phile here. Done quite a bit of camping and fishing and what not. There's a whole lot of fucking nothing in the woods here. Even more fucking nothing in the wilds of lapland in the north. Sure there's always the chance of wolves or bears out there, but wolves have only recently become an issue and bears tend to fuck off when they even sense men about. Unless they have cubs, that is.

yeah, most likely rats or something i dont think there's anything "spoopy" about the tunnel, its just kinda creepy looking, pitch black and the water level inside changes constantly and theres a lot of dips so it's pretty dangerous to explore. as kids though, it was basically a portal to hell.

I have no explanation. Ive never, ever heard anything like it in person or on video. I cant associate it with a regular animal, I know some can sound spooky or like people sometimes. Mountain lions have a too high pitched a scream. My best guess was a moose, but theres sort of a raspy quality to their calls that this thing didnt have. I found a clearing in a forest, about 30 yards across; a circle. The brush smacked down and burnt.

It had an outer layer of stones on the periphery, another about 10 yards in from that, and a large stone with a wooden obelisk thingy over it.

Pretty funky and I'm sure even some LARPer or a meeting place for a small cult of some kind.

I've been meaning to go back and check it out, and it it's still maintained, to set up a trail cam (well hidden).

Back when I was around 12, my step-brother and I were walking in the woods around his house, and we stumbled on this ruined house, that we'd never seen before. It was old as hell, so we didn't think much of it. We explored it a bit, but didn't find much. We kept walking for a while but didn't find anything of importance for several minutes. After walking more, we found this little spot where there was this smoking embers. By this point, we think someone went camping and didn't know it was private property because we are pretty deep in the woods. Of course, this isn't that innocent. After walking around some more, we saw something in the distance. We thought it was a bear, but it seemed different. It was walking in its hind legs, and it was unusual enough, to be sure, except it was rather large, and it was humanoid in shape. It was in the distance a ways, but I'll describe it as much as possible. It was quite large, it was at least 10 feet tall, based on the distance. It had pale/grey skin, it was naked, it was in the shape of a man, but with different proportions. The arms were longer than the legs, and were past the knees on the creature. The fingers were quite large as well. The body was skeletal in build, with thin arms. I didn't get a good look at the face, however, it had an elongated head. I can't go into much more detail, but I may be able to answer some questions.
