Poltergeist caught in Cuiabá, Brazil.

If this is a fake one, is pretty good. Still i would love /x/ to help me debunk it.

The caption says:
"Watching a horror film is easy. Guarding an IML facility is truly something else."

>>
IML is the Institute of Legal Medicine.
>>
there's a Brazilian horror movie coming that takes place in a hospital, dude. saw trailer with Logan.

What am I looking at?

those guys have some balls.
Also it just seems funny to me. Being a ghost it just seems so silly to just slam doors around abit
what is the ghost getting out of that?.
>>
Pretty damn convincing... Either real or something for a movie as some said previously

>If this is a fake one, is pretty good. Still i would love /x/ to help me debunk it.

If it's fake it's pretty good. The fact that the light goes for a little bit after the box stops slamming and before he examines it makes it suggestive it could be faked. But it is a lot of work to fake that.

The fact that his flashlight is deliberately set on such a narrow beam is suspicious. Who would put their flashlight on "ultra narrow" if this kind of thing were really happening to them? You can tell the flashlight is adjustable because it's a square beam and not a round one which means the flashlight has been set on the most narrow setting possible.
>>
>>18772198
Nothing gets by you, Colombo.
Did'nt notice the flashlight thing.
Good catch.
>>
>>18772198
Maybe it's wide beam is shit, i have on shitty lantern here that only works with said "ultra narrow".
>>
>>18771924
No, Stop.

As a native spanish speaker, i can assure you that, 100% of times, paranormal events in South America are fake. They try to get on tv with any kind of shit, and paranormal stuff is like a drug there, they love to make paranormal shows and compilations.

The majority of south americans that don't recreate themselves in religion, choose to recreate in anime and paranormal stuff (both at the same time).
>>
>>18772513
We have a lower prevalence of paranormal shows, ghost stories, cryptids, etc...

Than all the rest of the western world.
>>
>>18772513
What about the poltergeist in Chile caught by cameras, news channels (live) and the Chilean Police?
>>
>>18772060
I actually know the brother of the guy who made that movie. Should I ask him?
>>
>>18772198
>flashlight is deliberately set on such a narrow beam is suspicious
dumbest post ever, congratulations
>>
>>18772525
That's just a blatant lie.
>>
>>18772513
You have a mental illness, well documented, that's called "self-hate". Get cured.
>>
>>18772550
We have less paranormal shows and cryptids than the "rational countries".
>>
Wow that's totally not super easy to fake. I'm convinced.
>>
>>18772543
Duh?
>>
>>18772546
Why was that a dumb post?
>>
>>18772552
I'm not from South America and you have the "i'm a salty juan syndrome".
>>
>>18772513
>native spanish speaker
In Brazil they speak Portuguese.
>>
>>18772513
Op here: Si hablas mierda, el post esta en portuguese, esto es en brazil

The truth is, it seems legit as fuck.
>>
Probably a viral for the movie "O Rastro" (The Trace (?)).
Looking good for a Brazilian movie.

These the same people that made the movie about the floating peat bog and tried to virally market it here?

Doesn't look like a promotional viral, friendo.

http://extra.globo.com/noticias/viral/misterioso-video-do-iml-de-cuiaba-foi-gravado-em-escola-publica-no-parana-21055931.html

>it was in a public school in Paraná, not in Cuiabá like most people are reporting on Twitter
>the nightguards involved in the video are actual law enforcement officers
>they've already presented their reports and the case is currently being investigated, no names are being given as of now
>the school administration pretty much confirmed that this was an actual thing that happened in there last week

I think it's also worth noting how this doesn't generally follow the structure of a video that is specifically conceived to be viral, or even that of most "ghost caught on camera" videos seen on YouTube for the matter. If you pay attention you'll eventually realize how nearly all of them abide to a sort of bog-standard filmmaking structure: they start with some form of tension building up to culminante in a scary delivery at the end as the pay-off. This clip is the exact opposite, it starts off by immediately showing the phenomena and it just dissapears halfway throughout. Combine that with how genuine the reactions from the night guards seem to be and with how they are officers of the law holstering a gun on a public school (I doubt they would go that far for a mere prank) and it certainly doesn't seem like something specifically recorded to go viral.

Of course, this doesn't necessarily prove it's a real poltergeist or anything of the sort but, when you substantiate it with the fact that these are actual officers and that the school is actually treating is as a real occurrence then you're at the very least epistemically justified in believing that it is not a deliberate prank or a viral. It seems to have been an actual unexplained phenomena caught on tape, independently of its veracity. Exactly what provoked it? Who the fuck knows, might have been students screwing around or else.
>>
>>18772795
Yeah ignore the fact i'm talking about south america WHERE BRAZIL IS.

Or are you guys implying brazilians are more educated than the rest of south americans.
>>
>>18772132
What's that sound right after the last bang? Sounds weird almost like someone yelling (may also be a dog barking or an echo from the bang)
>>
>>18775050
edit: there is no way that sound is an echo from the last bang so forget that bit
>>
>>18772795
what a fucking idiot, good catch
>>
I think its real. This is basically how it happened to me in my grandmas house.
>>
>>18772552
All he did was call South Americans sensationalistic and you're calling him mentally ill? Wtf is wrong with you? Are you the mentally ill one?
>>
>>18772795
English speakers are hardly aware of the conflicting titles anon.

I only recently found out Spanish is interchangeable with Portuguese and I imagine the difference is so nuanced that if flies over the heads of those speaking the common tongue.
>>
>>18772540
go on...
>>
>>18772984

theirs a poltergeist watching you masturbate right now!
>>
Strings. Also >>18772060. Wouldn't be the first time

Camera glitches for a half second as the door stops banging. The light on the roof starts jumping around everywhere
>>
>>18775392
Camera glitch = movie effect.
>>
>>18772627
Not him but, there could be hundreds of reasons for the guard to have kept on narrow beam, having the torch on narrow beam doesn't have a unique benefit to the fakers of a video either, its not particularly suspicious as unrelated.
>>
>>18775170
Not him, there was a (media) documented case in chile of police evacuating a family from a haunted building

all the videos uploaded so far have atmospheric music which is an extremely dubious thing for video evidence BUT the videos were produced by the media who could have done it to increase the dramu

>Less shows
I'll give you that, if only because most beaners don't even have TV.
>Less cryptids
Blatant lies. Mexico has some of the most well known cryptids and paranormal creatures.

Try harder next time wetback.
>>
>>18775343
Ghosts aren't real cuz MUH porn

> you right now
>>
Watch what his flashlight does right before the slamming stops. He shines it into the doorway and then wiggles it as if trying to let someone know to stop doing the slamming and that he is almost there. It seems pretty deliberate to me.
>>
>>18775155
Spanish is most definitely not interchangeable with Portuguese. Spanish and Portuguese speaker here.
>>
>>18775886
>having the torch on narrow beam doesn't have a unique benefit to the fakers of a video either
of course it does, it makes their video look spookier

use your head
>>
>>18772984
What's the story on the ghost/demon? (That house in Chile had a demon posessing the house originally posing as a little girl)
Did a kid or teacher die there or something?
