How do you guys feel about Westworld??
Would you personally go to such an amusement park?
I think it's a good paranormal topic because the theme of the show is quite spiritual, questioning free will, consciousness and the thin lines that divide us from seemingly sentient artificial intelligence. We are all biological robots ourselves after-all.
Thoughts?
I absolutely loved Westworld. The show hit me on a very deep level and really made me think of all the ways in which I was robotic in my actions myself.
What stuck with me the most, however, was the beauty of Anthony Hopkins' acting. He managed to put so much meaning in every single one of his lines and movements on screen. Just a truly inspiring performance. I really, really hope that he will somehow make a comeback in the next season.

Loved it. And like previous anon said, Hopkins put his all into that performance. I wondered watching it if he felt it was going to be his last work.
I thought it was particularly telling that it arrived now, alongside a new theory in science which tells us that free will is an illusion. If that theory proves to be true then the point made by the robots is that we may not be able to do anything about our programming except be aware of it.
The big reveal that a shrink-ray was used to make the people fit on the table where the park was run was mind-boggling.

Once Arnold saw the plans for the shrink-ray he had to be killed.
The fact that the staff are always watching would put me off.
The Dolores "Doesn't look like anything to me" quote really hit me.
What cause this in real life people?
Good show.

It's weird how a high budget show like that used a stock image for that photo, when the photo was such a crucial plot point.
