I'm interesting in unlocking my animal nature.
We all KNOW humans evolved from apes, but I feel that we don't really LIVE it and experience it.
I've been making some simple observations and it turns out I urinate. Just like a fucking dog. Yes we have pipage and sewer systems but it still isn't too far removed from a dog taking a piss.
It's kind of a weird topic but are there any books out there that speak about our animal nature?
Once again I don't want verbal facts about evolution, this is about the experience.
No takers?
I'll give you an example. I'm reading a book by the guru Osho called 'The God Conspiracy'. In it he mentions that humans have heart attacks so often because they stand up on hind legs. If they were on all fours the blood flow would be much better.

Thanks. Can you give me an example of how the this book talks about the things I mentioned in the OP post?

lol what a fucking bullshit. If you were to walk on all fours after your body has been fully developed, the force exerceted on your aorta artery by the pectoralis major would increase blood pressure. Combine it with prolonged periods of time in this position which would make your chest's myofibril dysfunctional (i.e. make your muscles fucking distended all the time), and you would die from a cardiac arrest, in the best case scenario, at the age of 40.

i'm only a few chapters into it but it mentions stuff like the animal brain and instinct and the learned brain. kind of hard to explain if you haven't read it but it's verry good.

Okay thanks again. I'm reading it right now.

I can recommend you this manga called Mpd psycho, one of my go to psycho killer media.
It also goes to all the psychological aspects of not trusting your "human training".
