Subjectively though it has more realistic aspects than the high-res CGI render... For 1 thing, it's practical effects ( I think its from Fire in the Sky). Secondly the focus is correct with the foreground in focus and the background out of focus and third, the lighting and shadow really isn't bad because of the background they chose with the tree the sun lines up correctly (look at the tree shadow).

This one is the one which has been deliberately distorted by fucking trolls (AKA, fake)

But the other one (posted in this thread) is strange, the alien seems to be facing a slightly different direction and it just looks a bit more realistic, despite the shitty quality.

Some people have put forward the theory that the grey picture was the original, and this version is the fake one.
