if global warming is real and melting all the ice in extremely cold places because of how hot it is getting ... creating more water covering surfaces of the earth ... wouldn't the next huge hurricane kill us all because hot weather makes hurricanes more severe?

That's my theory, but I my field is water quality and not climate science.

I know it may not seem that way but there is a certain degree of on-topic required per board, friend

climate change and flat earth are very /x/ related.

climate change is making weather patterns more extreme, and we will see hurricanes etc. getting worse, but it doesn't happen to that scale. think more hurricane katrina-level events, not "the world destroyed by a storm".

Yes
If climate change is real why is a polar bear drinking a cold coke?
It would definitely make it worse. More moisture in the air and all that.
Interestingly it'll also make snowfall worse in some areas. Because while some places will become too warm to snow, some areas that were too cold to snow will become just warm enough for that. That plus that extra water vapour makes for a mean combination.
See 'Climate Change: What Everyone Needs to Know'. It's a fantastic book.
