Did the earth stop spinning causing the ice age to begin?
That's a lot of ice in that period of ice age.
If you read about Antarcticas ice sheet you can see that it would very much change the sea level.
But in the ice age was much more ice on the planet, if it was like the Antarctic ice sheet 2km thick, wouldn't it mean that nearly all the water of the planet was on the poles on that period?
If earth stopped spinning exactly that would have happned.

No man. Precession and the orbit around the sun elongates and shrinks again. There is a steady pattern of ice events until something big hits the planet and interrupts the cycle, like the one 12,800 years ago. Ocean levels were 400-500' lower then. The waters been always there. Just higher and lower at times. So all the ancient civilizations are under water right now and washed away from the surface from the great flood
