Any musicfags here?

Are there or have you found anu occult/esoteric chords or chord progressions?
>>
the one thing i have found that works is practicing you giant lazy faglord
>>
>>18677713
Not op but im near pro. Mystic chord might be your cup of tea but im still searching
>>
>>18677698
I haven't looked very deeply into it, and I know there are books/essays/etc. on this very topic, but if you have a solid foundation in music theory, you can find some pretty neat chords/ progressions/arpeggios if you familiarize yourself with Liber 777 or similar books. It can become quite a rabbit hole!

The piece bears the inscription "In order to play the theme 840 times in succession, it would be advisable to prepare oneself beforehand, and in the deepest silence, by serious immobilities"

Look into the Sama Veda. The text is here but what you want are the melodies contained therein.
http://www.libraryofyoga.com/bitstream/123456789/1065/6/SAMAVEDA.pdf
It is the Veda of song, and is meant to teach the the sound and cadence of Vedic mantras.

It's not the sounds you use but the soul you apply to them, music without soul is noise. Music is already near supernatural, being able to entirely change a persons mood
>>
>>18681044
I wonder if thats why so many religions have ban on certain music.
>>
total musicfag here.
whenever someone asks me about esoteric music, i always think of this song. i've never heard anything like it and it seems to come from a very dark part of the human mind.

I remember reading about an occultist whose name I don't currently remember (something italian).
He came up with a formula that he said "granted some interesting effects" by combining the color green, the D note and lots of heat.

Anyone know whom I talk of?
>>
>>18681033
Professional classical guitarist here. The tritone was originally supposed to be an "evil" scale, same with the diminished scale. To hear an example of this, Slayer's "raining blood" uses that idea in that first catchy riff at the beginning.

this piece is based off of an edgar allen poe story. Gets creepier after the half-way point.

I mean music is si subjective. The despair someone hears in Gymnopedie is happiness to another guy.

Tartini claimed his music was written after he was visited by the devil.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violin_Sonata_in_G_minor_(Tartini)

>One night, in the year 1713 I dreamed I had made a pact with the devil for my soul. Everything went as I wished: my new servant anticipated my every desire. Among other things, I gave him my violin to see if he could play. How great was my astonishment on hearing a sonata so wonderful and so beautiful, played with such great art and intelligence, as I had never even conceived in my boldest flights of fantasy. I felt enraptured, transported, enchanted: my breath failed me, and I awoke. I immediately grasped my violin in order to retain, in part at least, the impression of my dream. In vain! The music which I at this time composed is indeed the best that I ever wrote, and I still call it the "Devil's Trill", but the difference between it and that which so moved me is so great that I would have destroyed my instrument and have said farewell to music forever if it had been possible for me to live without the enjoyment it affords me.[4]
>>
>>18681528
That's a beautiful Sonata btw, I could not hear anything demonic about it though. Very easy to listen.
>>
>>18681044

What if I compose a prayer for lucifer and slit my thumb beforehand. Will that prayer have effect on other people?

also Robert Johnson, was visited by the devil and he made a pact to become such an unbelievebly good guitar player. Least thats what the legend says...

this is legit

also triads were called the devil in music
>>
>>18682633
Tritones actually. Triads and Sixths were also considered dissonant, but to modern ear they really are not.

Funny how most of music of today is based on the V-I resolution which includes the devils sound. Satan truly won.

musicfag here,

try tritones or diminished fifths. here is an example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0bcRCCg01I
>>
>>18681284
this anon knows. Tritones are suggested as evil, music that lends itself to the abject. Black Sabbath were known for their occult worshipping, and the tritone or diminished fifth will be heard in most of their catalog.

A question for the more theoretically inclined musicians: Is he doing anything unusual with the music? Also, what's the technical term for the dissonant chanting?

432hz tuning on guitar sounds annoying and out of tune when people play with it, I honestly think I prefer 440hz
