I've had my astral projection destroyed on multiple occasions if that counts as paranormal, couldn't put up a fight at all. Usually happens when the projection is running out and the vibrations go down. No side effects so far tho, so i'm not really bothered.

As a rule of thumb you need to be about 150% the lean weight of the person they are possessing if you want to overpower them with your bare hands. If it's an animal it's best just to shoot it. If it's another man who's even close to as big as you are and who you care about too much to injure or kill or that the evidence will indicate was unjustified it's best to retreat.
