Let's talk about Shamanim, /x/. Shamanism was a thing that emerged from every culture on earth at one point. From the vast wastelands of Serbia, to the Korean Peninsula, even to the Native Tribes in the United States.Even the isolated Polynesian people had types of shamanism. Each type of Shamanism, while having different name for their gods, had the same aspects to it. The Shaman's journey, spirit guides and altered states of reality being the core features of many of them.
So the question for this thread is this: how did such similar traditions emerge around the globe from people who had no contact from one another?
