Hi /x/ i am a bit lost in alchemy, trying to figure what are the true present equivalence with the ancient called salt, sulfur, and mercury elements, what are not the current ones, and i could say there are not also the correct 500 or 600 years back.
I know that this is also a mental and willing process, what came first of all, but i want to know if i am in the right path for make good equivalences in future.
I deduced some things, since i was making my own thoughts, and by the time of the ancient alchemy and magic, Egipt was one of his wombs and where practically the alchemy as we know today, was born, even if there are some other and ancient ones. Obviously there are.
I'm going to share what i think, and feel free to make corrections, it would help me a lot.
Also, if someone want to share experiencies it would be great to.
Try sigil magick, it's quite easy and effective.
So, i started searching the salt. It is the common element of all three, but this salt described in some readings, has to merge and be natural with gold, it has to become, and as far i know, the cooking salt has nothing to do with gold. Maybe the marine salt, by his properties and what his element represent could be, but i found better candidate.
In times of ancient Egypt, they extract a mineral called amonium salt from some mines near of the temple of Amon. This mineral was well known by some healing properties and for making tinctures and ceremonial salts. It also uses today for the treatment of noble metals and purification of it.
Is this salt, the phisical element who also represent a good and adaptative element who merges and work with others?
And i have read something about magnesium, what in some way is logical by his powerful bright when calcinated and the amount of energy expeled.
