also I just looked up abandoned buildings in the Berkeley area and apparently there's some really cool places that have just been fucking abandoned... a building the University used for the original synchrotron has been abandoned, and also there's a building up on strawberry creek called youth cabin that has a lot of cool stuff in/near it
