I remember i accidentally stumbled across a bunch of news articles and videos of people recording strange trumpet sounds coming from the sky, theres like a hundred different videos of it and quite honestly, i couldnt find a single thing that seemed fake about even one of them. Each one was slightly different, and i can just imagine what it would be like to hear such a scary unexplainable noise. Its super loud and they say it sounds like its coming from literally every direction, loom it up. Try searching "unexplanable sky noise" or "sky trumpets".

Sky trumpets are kind of neat, they don't sound freaky at all. It sounds like a natural waveguide harmonic and I can hear where the audio cuts off and rings, as if it's an overtone of a fundamental (possibly inaudible) frequency. As for what causes it? I would be willing to bet it's astrophysical in origin. Some natural (but rare) process or series of processes vibrating the atmosphere. Or maybe something similar to the Schumann Resonance but audio rather than electromagnetic.

It could also be your nervous system if it's very quiet (in an absolutely silent room you would hear a low rumbling like when you cup your ear to hear the sea, because of your blood, and a highish whining noise which is the nerve to your ear picking up noise).
