You want spoopy in San Diego? Try "Urban Spelunking". That's exploring the drainage tunnels around the city. Use google maps to find the 'waterways' and spillways, then find where they go "under" built stuff.

>1. Murphy Canyon Road from South of Clairemont Mesa to Aero. At Balboa you're almost 100 feet under ground in a giant concrete bunker.
>2. Alvarado Canyon Road and Waring Road (by the megachurch). (Good simple one to start on.)

Yeah Packard is what it was, pretty sure it's not there, we hiked around the area where it was supposed to be for a very long time, later I pulled up some satellite images of the area and nothing was there.

And yeah, that's called Tunnel 9, apparently some kid got creamed on a 4 wheeler there and you can see him or some shit, I've never been.


There's also Devil's Creek in London which is kind of cool, my friends say they've seen some crazy shit on the trails in the middle of the night there.

Me and my friends travel around texas a lot to search for paranormal things. We've gone to San Antonio, which is incredibly haunted, Austin, Houston, etc. There are a few haunted places in DFW, but they're not widely publicized, for obvious reasons.

And most of the abandoned places around here are usually mundane little houses and shacks but there is this hydro-electric plant near High Point that I've visited a few times. I don't think its haunted but it's fairly spooky. It's pretty fuckin huge but the problem is that its not exactly by itself, basically a huge ghetto population encompassing it and the last time I was there some white trash family got police involved because my friend was stupid enough to park out in the open in broad daylight. But that's a whole other story, anyway I'm not too keen on going back because of that so if we can find something significant enough to explore that it's not a waste of gas to drive to, that would be nice. Might have to do a little online digging first.

If you ever come up here to the Panhandle, Amarillo has tons of spooky stuff. The Nat is supposed to be haunted. 6th Street Massacre has been investigated by "professionals", we have this bridge where edgy Satanists do weird shit. And so on.
Also up here is Adobe Walls. It is an old ghost town.

What else...I'm not sure you can get in but there is an abandoned hospital in Pampa, I believe it is called Worley Hospital.

Shamrock TX is spooky as fuck in its own right. Last time I was there half the twon was burnt down and entire neighborhoods were abandoned.

Skellytown. Not even joking. Skellytown is a real place full of twaekers with stuff to explore.

And Lela has an abandoned Schoolhouse.

Then down South between Del Rio and Eagle Pass is one of the most haunted houses in Texas. It is out in the rural area between both towns. Then along the border if you go out at night all sorts of spoomy shit happens. And Mexicans. Mexicans happen too.
