Can someone tell me why remote viewing isn't bullshit?

I've been seeing it spammed a lot lately, with what sounds like a bunch of LARPs chiming in claiming they can do it.

I want actual proof, not coincidences.

Honestly, its almost like the UFOs, if this phenomenon was so real and common, it would be out there.

It sounds nice, but I can't believe a shred of it.

Is there any small task that can be done to prove it? I dunno, the thing with the cards you always see in movies? Can someone tell me my name or something?
>>
Remember: "Prove [ topic ] is real" threads are troll threads made to get n00bs sucked into endless arguments, nothing more, nothing less.
>>
>>18611274

how can anyone learn or pursue something (save religion) without proof.

People telling me they can see things with their mind just sounds like some cracked out schizo.

I WANT to believe, I like this stuff but I've always had a problem with this one. I can get into conspiracies but this one is something "people can do" as in it isn't obscured behind government bureaucracy or other limitations.

That isn't really proof though.

Many claim they can actually do it, if anyone can I would like to know, I can even do the little "target" thing and even if someone can get a vague guess that's close I'll give it some credit...

>Energy vampirism is real
>>
Your all idiots for not suggesting the OP try it for himself. That is the best way to prove it's existence. It's insanely easy to do and in fact there even exists websites that will help you with training views.
>>
>>18611305
If you don't believe then you don't have to, nobody owns you anything and have nothing to gain from making you believe
>>
>>18613470

I WANT to, I'm into this stuff.

However I just need to experience some sort of proof instead of dismissing it completely.

Nobody has to tell me, nobody is ever obligated to answer anything, its just a simple request.
>>
>>18613471
CIA released a whole bunch of declassified information that proved it's existence, even for highly skeptical normies. Probably a good place to start. There are websites out there that will show you how to do it, as well as give you simple tasks to try it out on. The first time i did it, (the first time i tried thats how easy it is) it blew my mind.
>>
>>18613477

That's actually what got me interested in it. The fact that the CIA even gave it the time of day suggests it isn't completely bs.

What's the site/method you tried? How long did it take?

>People telling me they can see things with their mind just sounds like some cracked out schizo

If I told you to think of an elephant, could you describe it for me? Can you see it's enormous shape? Can you visualize its long trunk? Can you imagine it's gray, rough skin? It walking on all four of its legs? Big ears?

You're telling me, that because you can see this in your mind's eye, that you and I are schizophrenics?
>>
Just a fun thing to do, sort of related to remote viewing. A good way to practice is to pick and object in the room and try seeing everything from it's perspective, like it has eyes. It's a good excersize.
>>
>>18611305
I can try if you want.

The issue for me in remote viewing is that I never know who or what I'm looking at. Over the past 7 years I've had people tell me I described something only they knew of, perfectly (like the chances of it being mere coincidence were extremely low.), and I've had people tell me I bombed bigtime.
>>
>>18613494
I assume it's just like anything else, the more practice you put into it the better you get.
>>
>>18613488

By things I mean things that they shouldn't be able to see.

Anyone can imagine an elephant. Seeing something happening states away is what I'm talking about.
>>
>>18613494

alright, what do I have to do?

I've seen the writing a target on a paper thing. I'll try something very simple.
>>
>>18613507
http://www.greaterreality.com/rv/mcsa.htm
>>
>>18613502
Sort of. I can never read words (unless they are huge, and even then it's a long shot.)

Imagine dreaming and your vision in the dream only being about half as good as your real vision. It has always been like that for me. It's so annoying that I actually have not done it very much the past two years.
>>
>>18613507
May I have your first name or a nickname please? ( like a name you identify with. It helps.)

And I'm going to try and see the room you're in.
>>
>>18613514

Even getting a rough estimate I would be entirely impressed.

Can I give you a target and you try to guess?

http://greaterreality.com/rv/moments-of-clarity.htm

Similar to this?
>>
>>18613521

sure, its what I go by on a lot of forum sites. ^^^

(replied before I saw your new reply)
>>
>>18613514
Rule of thumb, If you can see the image in crystal clear clarity than it's not real, its most likely your imagination. You can't read text/numbers in a dream either. Not sure if its the same for remote viewing.
>>
>>18613503
>shouldn't be able to see
>Anyone can imagine an elephant
>Seeing something happening states away is what I'm talking about

But Anon, it's the same concept. You can "see" an elephant that is not in front of you. Why can you not then see a room full of government officials? See their papers? Their uniforms?

It's the same concept. Accuracy and specifics takes practice.
>>
>>18613535
Imagine the universe itself is a camera into the past, present and future, every angle is recorded. Instead of accessing it with youtube and the internet, you access it with instantaneous transfer of information via quantum entanglement. At least that's what i think atm.
>>
>>18611257
http://www.greaterreality.com/rv/instruct.htm
some are talented for that, some need to practice, try this test.
>>
>>18613535
Because you know what an elephant looks like.

For example, I've been to the zoo, I can see the elephant in the zoo.

I've never been to Russia, I can't tell you what the inside of the Kremlin looks like.

Imagining from memory and imaging from "nothingness" seems like entirely different things.

Not trying to argue, just understand.
>>
>>18613529
Ok.

I see who I assume is you. Horizontal striped shirt. Longish blonde hair, hazel eyes. You have the weird haircut with the sides super short and the top all combed over.

Seems like I'm in a living room. White brick fireplace. Wooden coffee table. The middle is glass. Underneath is books or magazines. I see a kitchen in the back. It has lots of blue on the walls. One of those silver refrigerators with two doors. At the counter are light brown, wood stools.

Ok. Your bedroom...I think I'm in a bedroom...Walls are white except one which is a darker color. Dark blue or dark green. Floor is carpet. The room itself is pretty small. Like a loft or something that was converted. I see a bed with a checkered or striped (criss crossing stripes) bedspread.

Across from it is a wooden desk with a bookshelf next to it. and a silver desklamp.

I actually don't even think this bedroom has a door. It looks like stairs just lead straight up to it. And connected to it is a small bathroom. Just a half bathroom. (toilet and sink.)

Annnd that's it. If I'm anywhere near the correct place, let me know and we can keep trying. I have not done this more than like...3 times in the past year.
>>
>>18613555
Not quite, the eyes and hair color are correct though.

Would doing the "target" thing help? I have paper and markers here.
>>
>>18611257
ive been trying remote viewing and still kind of torn if it's real or not. If no perfect results after a few more tries I might have to give up :/
>>
i wouldn't mind giving it a try over 4chan if somone want's to give me a target
>>
>>18613576
Same, the CIA taking interest in it brings me in, however I can't say with good faith if I think it's real or not. I have the potential to believe anything, however this one I'm stuck on. I would just like to personally experience the phenomenon.
>>
>>18613570
Ehhh, no. If I'm not getting it...I'm not going to get it. I have to practice a lot. I just don't have time to do it again today.

We can try the target thing though, why not.
>>
>>18613583
I've been doing targets I found online and literally every time I have some drawings really close. It's the most annoying thing because If I get even one exact drawing then I'm set for life believing it but it just won't give me it yet.
>>
>>18613548
No, you see, even if you had never seen an elephant - the concept of one exists. Just by reading my description - you could imagine what one might look like.

The same could be said about the inside of the Kremlin. You know how buildings are constructed and what resides in them (typically decor: chairs, paintings, people, etc.)

Again, it's just about determining specifics and/or maintaining accuracy.
>>
>>18613588
>>18613581

Alright, I have an index card.

RCET-OWNJ

It has an outline of an object on it, I can color it in if needed. The object is food and quite common.
>>
>>18613591

Yes, but I mean, isn't it just what your mind creates?

How would it use details it doesn't know to create something, i.e. the presidents paperwork or something.

I know where the white house is, I know what it looks like but I could never tell you what the paper on the desk says because I don't know.
>>
>>18613596

>>
>>18613596

>>
>>18613607
Have you tried to know/see? How do you know unless you try?

Also, verification is an issue.

I'd practice with friends or close ones. Have them hide things from your sight and try to see them beyond the veil - this way, you can test your accuracy when you get it wrong, right, close but not quite, etc.

While not quite, I can try another something.

I have another card that has:

KLRM

It is a solid shape.
>>
>>18613643

Oh for sure, that's why I give this a chance...

I saw it, its a decent theory. Right now, I would just like to know if it works, I unfortunately may only be convinced if I can personally witness it happening where I'm somewhat involved.

If I'm convinced it works, I'll definitely be looking into it a lot more.

>>
>>18613673
no problem, you're at least trying, which was all I was asking. The theory has potential IMO.
>>
>>18613674
apparently the hard part is figuring out what is a legit perception and what is a random thought. I cant imagine being able to literally have no thoughts going on to even get to the point where remote viewing could happen
>>
>>18613679
I can believe it. I can't even meditate desu... I'm always having random thoughts in my head. I haven't tried too hard though, I might look into doing it more though.
>>
>>18613679
clearing your mind is the hardest part, i think meditation would help with that. When im trying to clear my mind, I picture a giant empty white room with nothing in it but one of those big industrial garbage bins, and every time a thought strays into that white room i stop it and toss it into the trash.
>>
>>18613645
is klrm a keyboard or cell phone?
>>
>>18613689
KLRM is an iphone, so I would say yes

That's a nudge in the right direction for me.

I'll try one more, without any hints at all, if anyone can get close I'll be convinced.

So by your logic, my kids, car, house, animals, clothes and ANYTHING I see doesn't exist... except myself...

How are you going to RV anything if it doesn't exist? If nothing exists but you, when you RV the paper should be blank. Otherwise, your logic that only you exist is wrong.

Ever heard of the Large Hadron Collider? They can see molecules, atoms, particles, not only can scientist SEE them that proves they exist, they can also manipulate them. You don't even have to be a "scientist" to manipulate them.

It's always HILARIOUS when this RV crap comes up. If it's so true and "people can actually do it" then why when I say, ok remote view me then. I hear uh welll it doesn't work like that... No, it's not that it doesn't work like that, it's that it doesn't work period.

Stop lying people, go outside and SEE THAT THINGS BESIDES YOU EXIST.

So i practiced this last night, usinf subjects from a website And I did pretty good actually, but wasn't too convinced. today i got my sister to draw a subject while I was upstairs, she had it hidden from my sight. then I came down. she gave her "subject" a name of 4 letters, told me the name so I could "connect", I tried to RV what she drew.

Left is what she drew. Right is what I came up with, no prior knowledge or hints about what she drew. I'm a little convinced. But still not sure how I feel about RVing.

I wanna explain a little bit.
Notice how the RV subject my sister drew has a pointy nose.
When I was drawing I had a feeling to draw one of mine, which I ignored.
I realized I shouldn't ignore anything that comes to me during RVing, so I added a sharp pointy nose of the left side of my drawing (right drawing) instead,
Which for the most part I would count as success for the fact that I had no hints, only the subject number (FGHM) she gave me.
I learned about remote viewing last night and it's intriguing af . This was my second attempt since last night. I wanna believe

They said nothing can be proven, not that nothing exists.

Potentially not, everything could be your dream taking place while your true body is in a comatose state. Our senses are merely electrical signals interpreted by the brain, and our brain has the capability of creating all of our senses as hallucinations. So you can't really prove anything, merely have an almost certainty that something does exist.
