so can we talk about the most /x/ band?
i know they are considered entry tier but they are by far the one of the most satanic bands on earth with all these weird references
they have a album called Blood Sugar Sex Magik
they thanked satan at the awards
they have a connection with dr.tim leary
are they hiding in plain sight?
>OP dies not know about obscure Bands like Current 93, Lustmord or Jex Thoth
Come on ...
They are into it some but I would say it is more a Rick Rubin influence really...
no it's probably more heroin influence than anything, that album is from one of their craziest times, discounting the death of hillel.
https://youtu.be/m7Knc3l8l9o
this is the most /x/ album out there.

If Tool gets a vote, this band gets one too.
>>18609743
oh please
Now THIS is hiding in plain sight
It's amazing the amount of hidden content on this one album. And to think it came out of something as innocuous as the Beach Boys

The weirdest thing I've read about RHCP doesn't concern them directly, but rather a band that they toured with called The Mars Volta. I can't remember exactly but you can google it: RHCP gifted the members of The Mars Volta a ouija board which they called 'Soothsayer', that they became sort of addicted to using after every show. It gave them all sorts of bizarre stories which they wrote into an album, and when they came to record it a load of paranormal stuff ended up happening in the studio.
>>18609743
What's up with all those /mu/ threads today? First we had Led Zeppelin, then Beatles, now RHCP.
But since this is a general thread, I'd likd to nominate HIM as an occult band.

Plus Gaga but faggot mods deleted two different Gaga ones...
>>18609743
RHCP is more /x/ than ozzy? how's that work?
pic related, though id recommend starting with "through silver in blood" or "a sun that never sets".
>>18609743
>the most /x/ band
I can name at least 10 bands more /x/ than RHCP.
Look for the cube and you will hear your answers and evil deeds will not be found.
>>18609743
How are they connected to
Tim Leary? Op is a faggot as usual

The TMV guys actually allege the guitarist bought the ouija board at a curio shop in Jerusalem. The band itself uses a lot of /x/ related imagery in their artwork and are heavily influenced by jodorowsky
>>18612144
>>18612137
although i see 'em more as hermits than satanist, but the two are conflated all the time.

>Ghost not being Satanic
Dude they're overtly Satanic. They admit it themselves. One of the nameless Ghouls talked about it. I can see being skeptical of Sunn o))) but Ghost? Bait.

>I can name at least 10 bands more /x/ than RHCP.
Do it.
Hard mode: no extreme metal
Nightmare mode: no rock
Hell mode: only pop music

The Mars Volta's definitely very, very /x/. The albums Amputechture and Bedlam in Goliath are the ones you're talking about. In line with their style of songwriting, the lyrics are intentionally cryptic. They talk about the headspace you get trapped in when you deal with what I perceive are extra-dimensional entities. The first two songs in Bedlam and the song meccamputecture in particular tell you about the entities they've contacted and the emotions that drove the group to lift the veil and explore the occult. You would know why: why are we on /x/? Have you seen the living?
When the divine mark you to be fucked with they've got cruel tools at their disposal, including thought manipulation, suggestion, hallucination, dream invasion and they'll even pull some strings from above to make certain humans openly hostile towards you, all of their efforts engineered to isolate and dominate you. If you let them completely control you, you might find youself pulling the trigger on yourself or worse. If you call them they will come and TMV found that out the hard way. If you're willing to throw away everything you've worked for in this world because of disillusionment or boredom you'll find them hungry at the gates. We're like ants to them and they're the kids with magnifying glasses. They're as cruel and beautiful as nature itself and ultimately terrifying.
It probably doesn't help that TMV've used all manner of drugs :(

Y'all are forgetting someone you shouldn't be.

Tool have some occult and spiritual subject matter, and Maynard criticized Christianity, yeah, but how does that make them Satanic?
Also OP is a faggot.

These guy sing topics of spirits, possesion and mythos of the Middle East. I like to picture ancient Babylonian landscapes and deities co-existing with man in those areas/regoins. Most song in Turkish.

you have no reason to assume OP knows nothing of these artists. autist
>>18610378
I remember this. the 2009 album "The Bedlam in Goliath" is essentially a haunted record.
I made a mistake (on mobile), the song Sanri is bout a possession, probably about Beelzebub..
"The laughter hits my brain
walls are constantly turning
Fear cluttering
Upset drinking sneaky breath
Blood-absorbing insects
The soul exploited.."
>>18609743
Saw them last night for the first time in my life... and I'm almost 50. GREAT show by great musicians. Super high energy and the light show was incredibly beautiful.
They had a lot of psychedelic images, artwork, effects and animations on their backdrop throughout the show.
Anthony has definitely danced with the devil in the past and I hope he's not taking opiates for his fucked up ankle/knee.
>>18609743
I think the line up at the time of BSSM were into ghost hunting too. They said in an interview way back that they stayed in some spooky haunted house while doing the studio recordings.

As much as I wanna believe this one, because of all the hype surrounding the album, I'm pretty sure it was either a huge marketing ploy or greatly exaggerated to hype it up even more.
I own the Bedlam in Goliath Vinyl, which is this "haunted album" basically. When you open it up, it has a copy of the "Soothsayer" aka the Ouija board the band used, inside it along with a fully usable Planchette so you could play with it.
According to people, these guys were so scared of the thing that they buried it somewhere and told noone the location because they were afraid of the "Goliath" coming back to haunt them and the guitarist/leader of the band banned even mentioning said board cause of all the shit that "supposedly" happened to them during production. Yet, they provide a fully working Ouija board along with names, dates and a crazy story so that people fuck around with it. This goes completely against the train of thought that they had during and in the months towards the release of the record.
The story itself is pretty cool, and its as /x/ as it gets. Some real modern day Led Zep tier story if you know what I mean, and they put out a killer album which does sound really ominous and "out there" at times (they end the album with Jerusalem chanting). But I'm pretty sure the story was just made up to hype up the album since its the theme, and marketing 101 says that selling a haunted record (the story) sells more with a haunted story behind it.
Check out the single Wax Simulacra, it has that "evil sound" in it, and those middle eastern touches, and read up on the story, its actually a cool read and full of crazy coincidences that they couldn't explain.

Jex Thoth isn't very obscure. But I do love Warrior Woman.
You like Birds of a Feather by Jucifer? Great song.

They aren't satanic or anything like that, but many of their songs are pretty dark. Really great band, though. One of my absolute favorites.
