Brexit-Cubs-Trump-Patriots. None of these were supposed to succeed. Not only that, but they were predicted to lose by wide margins. Did something change in our timeline that caused a ripple to flip the results of all these events? What did they change?
>None of these were supposed to succeed.
All that proves shows is how much the media lies about what is really going on.
/pol/ please.
And Dewey was supposed to defeat Truman.

>Not only that, but they were predicted to lose by wide margins
Brexit was predicted to be close. Trump v Clinton also. I don't know about pretend obesity sports though.
>>18601742
Why does /x/ get so triggered by Trump? Even in a thread that isn't purely political, you see somebody complaining that this discussion should be on /pol/

The universe which is populated by morons collided with ours and 50% of the population were replaced with idiots.
>>18602035
It was a serious question. I only frogposted to see if somebody (like you) would see it as an excuse to avoid answering it.
>>18601792
Clinton Trump was supposed to be a Clinton landslide in all branches and levels of Govt, it was supposed to usher in a new Liberal Era for the US.
Fuck they had Clinton with a 98% victory chance Election night.
Dude wtf the Pats were picked to beat the falcons by everyone you fucking twit

There's a reason for the term underdog. It happens.

>brexit
Polls generally indicated it would win around the margin it did. Liberal and propagandist pundits claimed it would fail.
>Cubs
Had the highest record during the regular season and have been a knockout team for two seasons now. They were down in the count at one point in the WS but an idiot could've predicted them winning.
>Trump
Fake polls that gave the black vote the same weight as 2008. Again, liberal and propagandist pundits said he would lose, some of the polls were pretty accurate. Also if you went outside in real life and talked to white adults with jobs almost every one was voting for Trump. Seriously, the only states Trump won among white people are big college states. The number of working white men who voted for Trump is yuge.
>Patriots
They have consistently been the best team in football for like a decade, you could basically call the pats winning the owl before the season starts and you'd be pretty solid, even with the suspension. Yes, the exact manner in which they won is statistically unlikely but the final scoreline is not.
>>18602048
>Clinton Trump was supposed to be a Clinton landslide
People expected she would win, but no one predicted a landslide. All the polls showed it as very close.
>>18602025
Because of all the bullshit threads that have Trump in them are clearly only mildly twisted to have an /x/ spin on them. They turn into political discussions which are not paranormal and do not belong on this board.
>>18602454
Trump is just another one of of them.
Tricked you good into believing he's draining the swamp.
>>18601734
To the point where people start questioning reality, thinking that "our timeline" has warped to make it happen. Brainwashing at it's finest.
>>18602679
>Brainwashing at it's finest.
They brainwashed you.
Now you think Trump and Brexit aren't part of their control.
>>18602697
That's just what they want you to think, you brainwashed sheep.

ok thank you
Brexit had a strong possibility, most predictions had it at like 40+% chance of happening.
Trump winning was fucking obvious to anyone who knows a thing about statistics or demographics. The polls were open about how inaccurate they were, for example reuters using 42% democrats and 11% independents when real life is 41% independents and 29% democrats. Then you have Hillary's monumental unpopularity, Trump's immense support base, his appeal in states that actually matter, etc.
The only unlikely things were cubs and patriots.
>patriots with Tom braidy and Bill Belicheck
>not supposed to win
TOP KEK
>>18601717
>Patriots
>Predicted to lose by a large margin
Pats were the favorites, they were only "supposed to lose" when the got down 21-3 at halftime
