I've been figuring out lately that the 7 deadly sins are a relevant thing. I try not to see the word sin as something evil,but rather as a path. A sin is to Be on the wrong path. All of the deadly sins really are a direction towards the wrong path. The sin ive been struggling with is lust. Something about the 21st century always glorifies lust. How can I let go of this? Is there any examples from the religious books that can convince me to stray away from lust? I can see the effects it has on people, and myself. I want to stop list, but it seems like the world tries to center everything around lust.

Yup. 15 or so years ago in my early 20s, I went on a information binge courtesy of my local bookstore. Had no idea what Kaballah was at the time, just came across it in.. new age? reading section. Pretty good stuff. I enjoyed the necronomicon for what it was, a good read. Some Crowley, I found the Book of the Law to be kind of boring. La Vey, The Satanic Bible and one other one I can't remember, that guy basically tells you that his church is a sham, and that "most men might have a hard time admitting it, but they like the smell of piss" haha. I would expect something like that to come from a jew, those freaks are obsessed with piss and shit. Anyway, just go to a bookstore and check the religious sections, you'll find some cool shit.
