This is the essential book to start with.
The basic idea is to take a sentence describing a specific outcome, remove the duplicate letters, arrange the letters into a symbol and remove just enough detail from it to make it unreadable to the conscious mind.
Then there's multiple methods on how to "charge" and "banish" the sigil, and that's where the magic happens.
