But why tho? What would be the benefit of covering up the existence of giants? Especially if they're already dead and gone, its not like they can protest for voting rights. I mean we'd have to reevaluate our theories on human evolution I guess, but we do that all the time.

It may be that actually, the US government is always coy with talking about evolution theories. On the other hand, it's not like giants would be completely incompatible with religion, such as the myth of the nephilims.

In any cases, that conspiracy theory with the US government seems bullshit, but I'm almost 100% sure there used to be giants, or tribes of really tall men, at some point in our history.
