I'm not familiar with them. I actually just started using 4chan about a week ago so I'm not familiar with the regulars or anything.

they used to post these uniformly sized square images that were 9 square images, like looking at a rubix cube, and they would sometimes make them into animated gifs so that they would change. haven't seen that shit posted here in a few years now though i think.

I looked it up and think I found what you were talking about. It looked like that's what they were attempting but not like meme magick that's become kind of popular because of 4chan.

Meme magick happens organically and can rarely be influenced or used to manipulate anything. Devotion, mostly by a group rather than an individual, seems to be the only way to initiate anything and even then there is never a guarantee. It's more observed than practiced. It happens to or for you, but not by you. "Something" else chooses what it does. Kek is what people are calling the "something".

If there's actually something to it, it's gotta be something to do with group participation mixed with faith or hive-think. It's interesting to observe some of the threads on /pol/ discussing it. Some of the happenings are uncanny
