i did a weight loss sigil and kept it in my front pants pocket with me at all times. when the sigil was complete and i lost the weight, the sigil disappeared on its own (must have fallen out of my pocket or something) but the sentiment was the same. I personally wouldn't burn it until the ritual was complete.
